for anyone interested, when walk-away auto lock fails due to a keyless system error, it will not re-engage until the battery is reconnected so the keyless system can re-initialize. the same thing can happen to the rain sensor if it was disconnected, auto headlights and auto wipe won't function...
the sunroof is not canbus, it is LIN bus. the master LIN is actually the PWMICU on driver door. Repairing the wire (which meant it was broken somewhere) of the sunroof you can pass it to either front doors window switches, they're all in parallel. As for fuses? the sunroof has constant fused...
there is a relearn proceedure for the front windows, that, yes, if it "forgets", the sunroof wont work either. The sunroof will only work if the master LIN (Pwmicu) works and the passenger door window up and down movements are learnt. To do this:
from driver side, hold the driver window down...
yeah so you have to sniff when the car beeps by opening and closing the door letting it happen and see if any frame info appears related to it, you can also put the keyfob far away from the car while sitting on driver side with laptop checking data and just press the door switch to make the car...
the on-screen climate controls are available on CAN but not the physical buttons.
the beeper in back i don't know if you can control it or not over CAN, never checked. you would need to packet sniff the bus while locking with keyfob to see if you can see the frame appear and attempt to replay...
ok:
gears are on 0x12F85150 bytes 0 and 1.
doors ajar states are on 0x12F83018 for left doors byte 0, and 0x12F84018 for right doors byte 0.
0x12F8B0A2 is the status of the heated front seats, which can be "pressed" as well (0x12F8B151 for driver byte 0 use 0x80 to press, and passenger side...
oh right! sorry! it's BCAN. FCAN on OBD is cut when ignition off. BUT, if you can find the BCAN harness for the 10th gen led lighting kit you can have a plug in option there. BCAN is 125kbps and always running until 20 seconds of inactivity after factory arm signal is triggered on the bus. the...
i have it at home it uses the panic CANID frame which you can also use to flash the lights of the car as well. the pulses only last like 10ms so just stream the frame as needed until you're satisfied, ill put the info here whenever i get home
no crank no power with good battery means the big multifuse in engine bay needs to be replaced. this will easily blow if you accidentally reverse booster cables, and costs about 40$ cdn at honda, it's bolted down with 2 bolts as well.
for anyone having this issue in future, mine just did that after work, right now, i know theres stuff online to play with ignition and moonroof buttons at same time, but that was labelled for "auto" issues. in any case i held down "CLOSE" for about 15-20 seconds, the sunroof started inching tiny...
the walk away and entry? or the keyfob buttons?
you can try to disconnect the windows switch on master door. if this works (which is for the door entry) a simple relay can be used to short the BCAN lines, this stops the communication between the receiver (driver windows switch) and the BCM from...
just disconnect the hood latch wire, the keyless entry wont work when the hood is detected as open. no tools are needed, you can reach down and unplug it.
are you connected to BCAN's pink/blue wires? well yes you should have a common ground between the arduino and the car. If the arduino is powered from the car it should be grounded already. should connect CANH to CANH and CANL to CANL, if you still have issues there is a wiring problem between...
no need to hack OEM harness, T-harneses exist for plug&play remote start systems, check out idatastart. just hack the plug&play harness, the datasheet of the harness is included with pinouts.
everything is on the t-harness including power and the PTS button
they did use rolling encryption in past but later models they went back to static. the 2102T uses encrypted rolling codes and used in viper systems, way better protection than OEM signals. I use it on my 9th gen LX as well.
which is why the best way to solve this is disable the OEM keyless system until you need it, making fob signals useless until you re-engage the system.
