I have had this Intake on both of my Type Rs (It has raked up about 23k miles between the two) I LOVE IT! Sounds great. Just make sure you get those top vacuum hoses angled down as far as you can or they will rub on the hood and create vibration issues. The inside of my hood is slightly...
Well shoot..... an over rev...? THat's the down side about purchasing a used manual car.... you never know about the previous owner or any issues they had.

Edit 2: It really does not sound like a slapping rod... it's probably...
His insurance company took care of him. He didn't stress too much about it but he couldn't believe it. The hotel sub contracts out valet, and valet was trying to say it was the hotel. They took a turn too sharply and side swiped one of those concrete pillars.

What badge number 2019 are we up to? My old 29476 Has the Recall. My new 34514 does not (Yet)
Good Looks...
But hey... you didn't want to spend 500 dollars for the spare tire that the one guy was selling in the parts for sale section? You can't pay to play??!??!?
Just kidding lol
Well, I know some of you may be curious (or maybe not) about the state of my Type R.
So thankfully the damage really was not that bad. The estimate was around 13k. I am still missing a few things so I suspect it will go up from there a little.
With that being said.... Here are some pictures of...
