imo, ditch components for the rear fill. grab coaxials. i do want to put out there though, value to performance ratio is something to consider. having coaxials in the back is just more cost effective especially for sound that you're not really going to be able to take advantage of. that way...
1.) I highly recommend a DSP with bass signal restoration. At higher volumes, the headunit cuts off bass. Dunno why... But AudioControl has excellent products that has the signal restoration feature. I'm currently using Honda Hack and setting DSP to flat with a script. But YMMV.
2.) Mobile Audio...

Does anyone know if that foam tray fits standard 10th gen Civic sedans? It would be really convenient for mounting amplifiers there.
I really do dig your taste. I was looking for chrome trim for those pieces in the bumper. Thank you for your post! It really helps to formulate an idea of how my Civic will look! Sadly, I feel like those minor chrome trim pieces should really have been included with the car. xD
From what I heard, the audio was done by Pioneer. The sound really sucks in this car, across all trims.... =[ Not gonna lie, glad I have a basic EX model without an amp or center speaker. It allows me to do an audio project without built in amp problems.
To answer your question about adding an aftermarket DSP; any car will sound better with a DSP when properly tuned. A DSP is not a plug 'n' play fix. Once installed, you will need to literally tune via software, analog knobs, etc. If you just install a DSP and adjust EQ, your car won't...
Hey all!
I was wondering; does anyone know of a DSP app for android? I know Viper4Android already. Have it installed and updated settings. All I need left is time alignment. FAD/BAL isn't the same, so I was wondering if anyone know of time alignment dsp apps for android. If so, I would...
dsp flat and viper4android. works wonders. honda hack pro provides automatic start up for dsp flat as well. don't recommend it though. my screen booted up to that syscom free menu and stayed there. so i had to reset my headunit and now i just put the script on my main screen and select it.
I do prefer it... xD 7" mounting depth for w6 quality or better sounds real nice. i was thinking maybe enlarge one of the 6.7" holes to an 8-10" and grab the infinity. i miss 03 audi a4. had an insane amount of trunk space for a little sedan xD
Guessing dual free air subs won't give the pressure with the SQ huh? Would love to put my w7 in again, but man, the box is big, and needs to be. xD Mainly need subs for SQ, but I do love a little sonic massage from time to time.
I'll be replacing my front door speakers with my Hertz component sets. Not trying to lose any trunk space. Coming from JL 12w7.... So it's a downgrade either way. Would like opinions and if anyone has done it, worth it? I see some Kicker 6.7" free air subs I'm thinking about.
