I am selling my '19 FK8 with 30,280 miles. its been a wonderful 4 years of ownership but now its time to set my sights on an FL5. Yes I will probably get screwed over at the dealer but hey, I'll give it a shot.
My car has been...
Dude, Search button is your friend. I have a whole thread about this setup on track with Re71Rs. scroll thru it and you will see what kind of things to look out for.
Holy crap! Reading through everybody's posts (Yes 7 pages) I see that there are a lot of issues with lagging and freezing. I use SXM quite frequently so I'm hesitant to download HondaHack if its going to interfere. Honestly, I only want to use Honda Hack for netflix and youtube but with all...
Only time I rubbed on +40 was on a track going up a right corner hill with full load going to the rear corner. Even then, I was able to just rub away the tire mark with water by hand. I dont think there should be any issues with rubbing with +45 or even +40 driving normally on the road. Of...
I didn't even consider how small the tank was until I took it on its first road voyage from NH to NC. I think I ended up refueling 4 times at least. That was all highways. Completely out of my element as compared to my Fiesta ST. With that car I could plan where to fill along my route where as...

I haven't been following closely to what all you have done but do you think with the charge pipes and intake addressed, this has solved a big portion of the overheating issues at the track?

So the start of this issue began with me replacing my brake pads. I have only 6800 miles on the car and I felt that I could benefit more at the track from...
That's the thing, there's not even a way of knowing. They kind of just tell the auto journalist community and bleh, thats it. I know its JUST a refresh but still..It's the Type R.
So does everybody think carbon fiber roof?
I hope Honda does an over the top press release of the refresh. The SI press release was meh. A 2020 R with a speculative CF roof deserves a little theater when the announcement is made. Then again, I may be getting my hopes up way too much.
