In the FK2 the trans cooler is an air/liquid cooler. If someone got the cooler and brackets then you could cool the trans and free up the coolant lines
Great question. I have the clunk under hard braking and acceleration. Gotten used to it at this point. Would love to try the powerflex or RV6 kit someday and see if that changes anything
Technically yes, tapping into the lower hose would give you more heat at the heater as it’s not cooled by the aux cooler first. I noticed on really cold days that mine wouldn’t get warm as quickly, but it wasn’t bad by any means.
I originally tapped into the top hose but switched to the bottom...

I wrapped the water pipe in some Heatshield Products wrap. Used the 1/2” insulation and tied it off with the stainless steel ties. Was able to get the whole pipe done once the downpipe was off.
