I got a shop near me that quoted me $500. I ended it up doing it myself on my garage floor. It wasn't easy, but not very hard either. It was my first clutch job too.
I'm not going to lie, I'm not truly happy with my '19 2Dr SI. I should have really purchased the sedan. If I make the crazy move to trade it in, I'm most likely going with an Accord.
Who wants to make payments for 8 years on any car? Depreciation will make this car worthless, and you will still have years to pay. Even 6 years is pushing it. Are you the type of person who owns a car until the wheels fall off? If not, maybe the 8 year loan is not for you.
They can take my Si, I don't care. That's why we pay car insurance.
PS. Don't bring it back. Burn if you want, just leave in a place it can be easily found.
I would try to have State Farm handle the claim since they use OEM parts. Geico will use aftermarket parts whenever possible. BTW, I don't think these cars have frames, they are unibody.
