I plan on keeping my 10th gen for a long haul. The seats have 100k miles of me sitting (at least the driver seat lol).

I second that, which one is this? My concern is that CarPlay won’t be smooth. I’ve seen it look fairly stutter-y in these units, but what specs did you get for yours?

Honestly, no, I haven’t tried. It’s currently too cold and I dread opening my door panels again to triage it. If the door switch works for you, I’ll pull the trigger and order a new one. Sorry, wish I had a more helpful answer.

Did you drill the holes yourself? Were they already marked for you on the inside of the bumper?
I second the brake theory, I had an issue like this as well. I think the dealership replaced the rotors and the pads for me (they were probably more worn than yours), and I never heard this sound again.
I would say an overall brake check to rule them out. Definitely not the end links though...
