    I plan on keeping my 10th gen for a long haul. The seats have 100k miles of me sitting (at least the driver seat lol). I don’t think anyone has done this mod before, but I’m just looking for thoughts on it.

    Pssh? Are you sure you’re not thinking of the sound made from the turbo? I think it’s a blow off valve that makes that sound.

    Honestly, no, I haven’t tried. It’s currently too cold and I dread opening my door panels again to triage it. If the door switch works for you, I’ll pull the trigger and order a new one. Sorry, wish I had a more helpful answer.

    It’s crazy light, maybe 10lbs tops? I’m unsure, I remember holding it upon delivery and was amazed at how light it was though, and rigid too.

    I second the brake theory, I had an issue like this as well. I think the dealership replaced the rotors and the pads for me (they were probably more worn than yours), and I never heard this sound again. I would say an overall brake check to rule them out. Definitely not the end links though...
