I ordered and received my RV6 Retro Flywheel and Exedy Stage 0 Clutch from Two Step Performance. No need to reprogram the computer and $1080 is a good deal for installation.
I took it easy for the first 500 Miles and love it so far. It has the OEM feel of the factory Si clutch.
Yes, for the price I paid, would buy my 2018 Si again. After nearly 5 years, still enjoy her and look back whenever I park her
I had the AC go out, small gasket leak, and the rubber trim around the windows crack; but still enjoy my Si, as a daily drive.
Also there is a strong aftermarket...
Awesome and wise advice. Complete your education and get a career going. Try to save your cash and invest in a home and build a portfolio.
As for the Si it’s quick enough and they handle great:)
It’s the perfect size and weight. Also awesome in any temperature and the Mugen looks great! Had the Boomba for less than a year, and got bored of it lol.
I have never driven the older Si's with the infamous high revving motors. From fellow members here and owners i spoke to in the past, they sound like a hoot.
As for the 10th Generation Si with Turbo motor, the power delivery comes on smooth and refined. It is a great affordable compact family...
For me I wanted a sedan and for the price the Si is hard to pass up. After I got to drive my Friend's '17 Si, I was hooked. Also I was going to do few mods i.e. Cat-back Exhaust and drop in Air Filter etc. The car was quick enough and handled well for stock. Also loved the looks of the 10th Gen...
The shifting feels nice and precise. And the knob looks great. I got the carbon fiber red stripe one. My little boy chose it over a year and half ago. He was getting into Godzilla and I showed him the picture of it. He like the Japanese print of the Mugen:)
I like the HFP kit and fan of oem upgrades. I had the '20 Type R Shifter, Acuity Rocker Arm, and Hybrid Racing Bushingd installed. Great package and retains ride shifting comfort for daily drive.
I am also looking at the Mugen Front Lip and Sedan Spoiler. But their too rich for my blood lol...
I thought of the Tommy Kaira Japan knob that weight 522g, but cannot bring myself to pay $365 plus shipping. Within less than 2 years that would be my 2nd aftermarket knob and 3rd knob over all. I am on and off about adding Mugen accessories and Type R Center Console:)
The Mugen knob is stated as "weighted 159 grams". I love the carbon fiber look and the red matches the Si theme. Also my son is into Japan due to Godzilla and it was his choice. The knob feels great and does not heat up in the warm summer weather here.
Hope you enjoy the Mugen door...
