Thanks people!
DOn't mean to resurrect an old topic but....
I just found this website and the prices are rediculously low... I was looking for brake pads and came across this site. They have more brands to shake a stick at! lol I looked up POWER STOP brakes, and they seemed to get great reviews.. especially...
dealer reset after each time...
I did post each time the dealer reset my MM... Im just too lazy to look at my old post to show you, lol.
But yes... dealer reset each time...yet codes B12 shows up again 3 weeks later....
Wouldn’t this be covered under warranty? I am sure the engine is not meant to have gas leaking and diluting your oil.
I am tired of having problems with Honda not fixing issues with their cars because they are warranty work
I would love to know if there is a way to go above Honda North...
I have read the manual, yes.
It was reset by the dealer after every time so why did the B12 pop up just two weeks after that was reset at the dealership?
It was serviced twice in two months and the dealership said that was odd and they are not sure why 100%
I am having the same issue along with the other problems with my car that is still under warranty that I am fighting for it to get fixed but they refuse because it is indeed a expensive job but it is under warranty and I paid for my car.
Honda North America told me to call around and get a...
Yes, lugs are the correct seat.
No no, those were the summer tires to my 2008 civic.
My 2008 civic coupe had 16 inch (maybe even 15 inch, not sure, it was a coupe LX) stock rims. Bought tire and wheel package from tirerack together... with those size tires on these rims...except they were...
When you say centering ring that you mean the plastic peuce that goes in the middle of the rim before you put the tire on the car ? I only have them for the front not for the rear.
I am using Lugnuts from the rims and another set of Lugnuts I bought because I lost some original pieces...

Are THESE the only tape on ones available to the coupe? I hate the chrome and want to cover it up, hence a stick/tape on. However, these are very VERY low profile... if i were to smoke...
These were on my last car... Instead of buying black steelies AND winter tires, i figure save money...
THey are 17 inch as opposed to 16...:
Also, the 2 other pics have 3 differemt off sets... I see one of them matches my Coupe.. 4x114.3
Would they fit my car...? what size tire for this rim....?
She just spoke with me and I basically got a little short tempered and she asked me well what do I want to be done.
I said the oil is not leaking because it was over torqued from the dealership, and that the leaking oil is not the biggest issue here the biggest issue is the deformities and...
I own the car out right without any payments to the bank or a dealership and I do not want to have a small leak from a brand new car ,let alone poor machining done on a brand new car that I have been loyal.
I have a case manager she contacted me last five days ago. I told handle North America...
Honda North America sending out an evaluator to look at my car.
My mechanic said it right... regarless if its leaking or not, theres deformities/pitting where the oil filter gasket touches the flange. The fact this is my 3rd oil chage and first two had to leaks, tells me that some oxidation...
I DID it by hand... honda used a wrench,..
no clue why the strip got dislodged....
its leaking where the rubber gasket of the filter comes in contact with the metal flange ( where you screw on the filter) it was leaking from bottom right deformity..
Oi vey, I can't answer per reply like you... not as skilled, lol.
THe filter may very well be intact... but when removing a filter, you should never see a rubber gasket over the holes of the oil filter, and the anti-drain back valve should be centered... not skewed over.. I will cut it open...
Did you happen to see the pics in the first post? Why would that wix filter fail at 8,000 miles?
Can you back up that 9lb? I have a torqe wrench but its from 10lb-25...
I always hand tighten plus one more full rotation.. I really believe the dealer torqed it over 9lb... im sure i can loosen 9lb...
Anyone know the torque specs for oil filter on the 2.0?? I tried looking on line and could not find a straight answer.. saw 8lb/ft-10lb-25-30lb/ft!!
I want to make sure they did not over tighten the filter because it seems as though it is.
