  2. 2.0l 2019 sport slow 0-60

That's all fun and games and I do recognize that the SI would have been a better fit. However, I am curious as to whether I was the only one who signed a contract when buying his car which prevents me from just driving it back to the dealership and picking a different set of keys
  3. 2.0l 2019 sport slow 0-60

Well that shouldn't be a concern of mine since it seems that I am already at -10% power
  4. 2.0l 2019 sport slow 0-60

Thanks for the replies. I feel like there is something different with my car after reading all these posts. I do not have an L in my transmission, matter of fact I never even heard of this before. Also for all of you saying that the CVT will give out, are you referring to the belt of the engine...
  5. 2.0l 2019 sport slow 0-60

It has 2000 miles on it, I honestly didn't even know that there are ktuner datalogs, I just downloaded it from the tuner and saved it to my desktop.
  6. 2.0l 2019 sport slow 0-60

Alright, I recorded my commute to work today, it is pretty long (around 40 minutes). I drove normally for the most part but the first 5 minutes I used the throttle more than normally (not exactly racing it) I understand that this is a rather large file with lots of data so I wanna thank in...
  7. 2.0l 2019 sport slow 0-60

What I am saying is, should I take it for a ride, try 0-60 or just let it do its thing in the driveway once I click start logging
  8. 2.0l 2019 sport slow 0-60

How do I get the datalog? I am pretty sure it's electronically limited because it never goes above 2k rpm when I try to launch it, makes sense they would do that if it could damage the car
  9. 2.0l 2019 sport slow 0-60

I finally took it to the track again for a final test, the results were once again dissapointing. Before the tune and the installation of the aem CAI, I had marked the exact spot where I would hit 100mph consistently. My speed at this exact spot today came to an average of 101.7(and this time I...
  10. 2.0l 2019 sport slow 0-60

    How do youbdo that?
  11. 2.0l 2019 sport slow 0-60

Still though, my elevation is 310 feet, nothing extreme.
  12. 2.0l 2019 sport slow 0-60

Do you have the 2.0l engine with CVT?
  13. 2.0l 2019 sport slow 0-60

I did use octane 93 today but it made no difference, also my altitude should be higher than mount Everest for my times to drop almost 30%
  14. 2.0l 2019 sport slow 0-60

I did like 5 more tries today with octane 93( the tank was empty from yesterday) and timed it with no passengers, the average was 10.63
  15. 2.0l 2019 sport slow 0-60

That's a whole 3 seconds faster with the same engine, it might be because you have the manual but I doubt that octane 91 will improve 0-60 by 30%
  16. 2.0l 2019 sport slow 0-60

We weight about 300lbs combined, that shouldn't be a problem. I was using octane 87 though, but I don't think that this takes away 2 seconds
  17. 2.0l 2019 sport slow 0-60

I am starting the stop watch the moment I step on the gas and my friend hits stop when it gets to 60. We did around 15 pulls at dry conditions. The results barely changed as I mentioned and even if you add human response time it shouldn't be more than 9.5
  18. 2.0l 2019 sport slow 0-60

So I bought a civic 2019 sport CVT a month ago, not expecting it to be fast or anything, but not expecting to be slow either. I finally installed an aem cai today and combined it with ktuner (set throttle response 2). And the results are, well, pretty bad. I consistently get 10.5 seconds for...
  19. 2.0L AEM CAI installation 21-792C

I installed the intake today, it was rather easy actually, the whole process took me 20 minutes and the only problem I had was forcing the lower stock air intake box out. Other than that instructions were pretty clear.
