"we do not have access to all tables necessary in the ECU to rescale and use alternative injectors at this time."
This is from an email between DRob and myself.
My GTX2860R kit will be here soon, and eventually, I'm going to build the motor and upgrade the fuel system, and then people won't have a clue what happened after I put my foot down. People just don't expect it anymore. So few Si's are actually built, and have added fuel systems.
The Si CAN be impressive af, BUT, you have to sink a lot of money into it at which point... why not get something faster to start with. So I gotchu. I really like my Si and I really enjoy the idea of beating V8's with a 1.5L engine so I'll sink whatever I have to into this baby.
I was messing with you. I saw you posting like 5-6 threads before about further modifications to your car after your previous blew, and now you're already bored of your Civic lol.
The blow off valve aspect on top of the fact that the Stage 1 is barely better than a straight TSP Stage 1 tune, and is below a TSP Stage 2 w/ Flex Fuel... is kind of... sad.
Obviously I know Motec is most likely the best, but the cost increase of it over the other options is enough to replace the injectors, fuel pump, pistons, rods, and a turbo system... But has anyone actually used any of these on their 10th Gen Civic?? Or in general, I'm worried about AC etc.
I cannot for the life of me find a really good video, guide or anything on replacing the CMC on our 2016+. A lot of older models have two reservoirs for clutch and brake fluid, so I'm not sure how different they are. HALP!!!
So a few months ago I upgraded from my EXT to an Si, I had a PRL Cobra RACE CAI on the EXT for maybe a month... When I swapped to the Si I couldn't reuse the non-Si Race MAF housing... It is in perfect condition. Perfect for either making your own intake, buying the other parts and making a...
Since I’ve fully broken it in (2500 miles now) I decided to try adjusting the pedal further. I basically have the OEM CMC rod as far out as it will physically go... it’s better but not perfect. I can actually change gears better while doing hard pulls, but it still engages super low. Kind of...
It’s very much broken in, maybe 4000 miles now, I haven’t adjusted it since install. I was told somewhere else that I would need an upgraded master cylinder to make the engagement point higher... :(
So, I got an FX350 with a single disc aluminium flywheel, I have adjusted the CMC as far back as it will go and the slave cylinder was still able to push back... however the engagement point is still less than a half inch up from release. The moment you start to remove your foot it starts to...
