This was my experience. I ended up trading my 2019 si coupe in for a 2020 si sedan. I still walked out with almost 100 less\month payment and would have walked out with far more if I'd been willing to deal with the 2019 on my own.

The car is leased so I kept the module because, while it didn't occur to me that it might cause a warranty issue, I do know there's a long list of stuff I'm not supposed to mess with during the leasing period. Even though it doesn't directly mention that module, I figured it would be good...
I have received a couple PMs letting me know to be careful about posting that I removed the adaptive sound control as Honda could invalidate my warranty for that. Is that really a thing? Could Honda trash my warranty because I disconnected and removed the fake engine noise module?

This last Sunday was my first time as a participant at a drag strip.

Since I had never done anything more than street light drags, I watched to get some idea of the track protocol and also see how others with similar cars were launching. After pushing into...
Congrats man! I just picked up a 2020 black SI sedan about a month ago. I didn't think I'd like it over the Agean Blue but the longer I drive it, the more I like it.
Is it really? I'll have to look into that. The car just ticked past 700 miles and I'm looking forward to finally being able to have fun with it. Would be nicer without the weird engine noise from the speakers.
Down payment for both cars was $2k. Both leases were 12K miles /yr for 3 years. Current payment is $240/ month and would have been $181/month without the trade.
I just recently took advantage of the ridiculous pricing Honda has been rolling out in response to the car sales slump and I traded my 2019 Aegean Blue SI coupe in for a 2020 Crystal Black SI sedan. If I hadn't traded my '19 SI in as part of the deal, I could have walked out with the '20 SI for...
I just picked up a 2020 SI earlier today. I did lease it, instead of buying. $2,000 out the door at $240/month for 36 months and 12K miles\year. It hadn't been on the lot long enough to have the fuses installed in it when I found it. Was the only one within 100 miles according to Honda's...
1: I think, especially from the front, the car looks fantastic! From the rear.. not so much. Having said that, I did buy the SI knowing that I hated the rear wing and that I primarily chose the SI over the CTR because of the SI's more muted styling.
2: Oh dear lord, the electric parking...
I've actually give some thought to buying a used one. The problem I have is that prices on used CTRs even 2 years old are close enough to MSRP of a new one, I might as well just get a new one.
I can understand some of the criticism about the looks. It's primarily the reason I went with an SI instead of a CTR. The CTR was clearly the better car in my admittedly amateur test drives. However, at 38 years old, I just couldn't see myself driving the CTR long term. I told the salesman...
This was my experience as well. I've had my SI about 5 months with 4,600 miles on it. My previous cars were an '06 Sentra, '97 200SX, '91 Grand Prix, and an '84 GTI. It took quite a while to get used to the difference in clutch feel and rev hang but once I did, I found it to be the best...
Call it blasphemy, but the rear spoiler is the only part of the styling on my '19 SI that I don't like. Are the trunk lids from different models the same minus the spoiler?
I'd agree. I have been quite impressed with how good this car is in stock form, especially for the price. I've had it less than 3 weeks and I've already put just under 800 miles on it. It's a blast to drive!
My problem with the stock shift knob is that it gets very hot in the sun and causes problems until it cools off. I've taken to placing a cloth over it during the day but it also goes the other way and can remain very cold for a long period of time.
I thought so, but the salesman assured me it did. Don't care either way, it sounds good to me. I've had the car 4 days and put almost 500 miles on it. It's a genuinely brilliant little car to drive and has just enough punch to put a smile on my face.
