So got my answer to this - the no gurgles and pops with stock exhaust.
Apparently a DP is REQUIRED to hear GOD mode. Am I the only one that did not know this?
This excerpt from the Phearable website is apparently them clearly indicating as such on their website.

I have both TSP and just picked up Phearable's last weekend. Fully concur with everything you've said. I really much prefer it - its just more "driveable" as everyone has been saying. Its nice to not have to hit the CRUISE button on the TSP tune while cruising around parking lots. As others have...
So picked up the phearable tune last weekend - been running it about a week. Its like everyone else is saying - smoother on the bottom end and just more driveable. I don't know if it actually makes any more power on the top end - I think they've just moved the boost up a little higher in the rev...
Hahaha, ya what he said! I just flashed mine about a week ago and to be honest I'd be fine with running it on the "Stage 1" tune from TSP. The 16PSI tune with the "tweaks" that they do are quite sufficient. Like Design said above if you desire you can switch on the fly to "Stage 2" where you get...
I agree with you 100% on all those things - though I would question the stage 2 tune on KTuner creating clutch issues quite quickly. Anyway, the issue is the ability of the dealership to see a "flash" increment on the ECU. I'm sure there's a flag for it.
Because its a lease and if something happens to the motor I feel there's less chance of there being questions about ECU mods.
To be clear - I don't care about making more power. Don't get me wrong the stage 1 of a KTuner will be all I'd ever do if I went that route (clutch concerns) as I'm...
I'm 6'1 and no issues with the sunroof. It was a HUGE concern of mine with the Si. The seat drops VERY low. That being said I did drive a GTI and it is a fantastic car. There's no comparison IMO with regards to interior and infotainment/stereo quality. That being said - being your northern...
This is part of the reason I waited for the '19 to see if they would update the back end after being on sale for 2 model years. They did nothing pretty much cosmetically so I hope they don't change it at all now. I'll be pissed if there's an update for 2020 :) Unless they find some way to make...
Hey man, where'd you end up getting it from? If you ordered from BMS did you have to pay any duty fees? How much was shipping (roughly)? I can find it from a Canadian reseller for about $100 more than BMS (taking into account the exchange rate as well) - but I can't get a shipping estimate.
Ya fair enough. I noticed that actually when cleaning them after trading in the '16 for our '19. They would have lasted the year had we actually kept the car. But you're 100% right there - if you keep your vehicles for 5+ years then ya maybe not the best way to go. They do look very factory...
Ordered mine on the 10th! They emailed me and asked me for another $6CDN which I paid so that I could get faster shipping and with a tracking number. Thanks for the post!
Dude, biggest thing is to make sure there's not scratches or curb rash on the rims - especially if there's a few miles on the ODO. Just walk around it TWICE and make sure there's no scratches anywhere. Once you drive it off the lot they can always come back with "well it wasn't like that when we...
