My favorite thing about my Si is that People always consider our cars to be SLOW because it’s a Honda. Until they get a taste of my Ethanol (when I used to run it) and dust.
My most hated thing about my Si is that there’s no option to upgrade GDI injectors.. Yet (:
also the parking brake :(
I’ve noticed my knock control has been a lot higher .57-.61 after I installed my AFe takeda exhaust. Could this be due to the knock sensor picking up too much noise and keeping the control higher as a precaution? It fluctuates as if it’s confused also jumps from .57 to .61 back and forth quickly.
My buddy has been running TSP stage two for A while now and he just called me right now saying that he threw a rod. He basically has everything PRL. He also said he was getting some misfire so I’m guessing that’s due to either bad spark plug or a failing injector. I hooked him up with Driver B...
I just want to know how people’s cars have been holding up long term with Ethanol. How many miles? Ethanol basemap? Tsp Stage 2? What issues have you had if any? How are your injectors holding up etc. any information will be all taken into consideration.
this thread isn’t just for me, it’s also...
This is what my new fuel trims look like after driving to work and letting it idle for 5 minutes. Loving it!!!
TSP Stage 1, MAPerformance catless downpipe, aFe Front Pipe and PRL flex fuel kit (Running 91 of course)
Thank you @mandofc3 for the Ktuner Bracket. Didn’t know you live a few minutes from me. I’ve seen you once on the road by where we met up. That Type R was a nice bonus to meeting us haha.
I want to run ethanol again but want to know if the injectors gum up with cheap gas like ARCO as opposed to other gas like Shell or Chevron. We only have 91 and E85 here.
Got the “OK” from my lovely girlfriend To let me get my downpipe installed. She’s the one who bought me this new motor so I wanted the OK from her out of respect. Got my MAPerformance Catless downpipe ready to be installed after work tomorrow. Super excited to see George and Louie at Juju Built...
Ok soooo I have the aFe Takeda exhaust and want to put those mufflers onto my stock exhaust. Will it have a different tone if I swap the mufflers onto my stock exhaust piping? I’m not too familiar with exhausts and how mufflers work.
If you guys want OEM spark plugs, you can get them from Edge Autosports. $12.29 a pop. Better than my dealership selling them for 70 a plug.. they are the correct plugs too.

If you have a White Si coupe, let’s see those aftermarket wheels! I’m on the hunt for some nice wheels and want to get a general idea of what looks nice and something that will go well with the Greddy front lip I’m going to get.
I want it on sooooooo badly :hmm:
I just really want my parts back on minus the Injen Intake. Also only on TSP stage 1. I also want to see if I can have a muffler shop replace my aFe Takeda tips, because they’re damaged, replaced with the stock tip.
