This is an update to this post: Stock Si engine boost leak at 19,000 miles? | 2016+ Honda Civic Forum (10th Gen) - Type R Forum, Si Forum - CivicX.com
But basically, the dealership got back to me after telling them on the way home my car was still having the exact same problem except this...
The car is a 2019 Si coupe, has a bit over 19,000 miles. The only mods I've done are changing the Honda emblems to the red ones and adding footwell lighting. (No engine mods whatsoever and all service has been done at Honda dealerships)
I was driving home on the highway, not driving too hard...
2019 Civic Si with ~18,500 miles somewhere around there. I included a screenshot of what all is included and was just curious if it's worth $180 as I'm fairly new to all this stuff. I know there are good tutorials on Youtube by like PhongVLG, Ttorres1183 and a few others so I was planning on...
Audible with windows closed and open squeaking noise coming from left rear area when making slow left-hand turns (15-35mph). Doesn't happen on right turns nor at super slow or 40mph+ speeds. It sounds almost identical to the 9th gen Accord in this video (but way less frequent only comes up...
I was trying to replace my dome/map lights but this metal piece is stopping me from taking the bulb out. The first screenshot is from PhongVLG's video when he did it on his 2018 FC1 and him and Chris Lowpes' car (his might be 2017) didn't have this metal cover thing.
I remember wanting this so bad in the summer when the metal on the stock knob was burning my hand. I emailed them about it and they said they'd only made a certain amount or whatever and I was bummed out.
Here's the link...
If the CVT in the LX/Sport trims is mated to the 2.0NA motor (less horsepower/torque) wouldn't that put a lot less strain on the transmission than the 1.5T motor in the higher trims? So the CVT would have less stress on it over the course of its lifetime if both cars were driven theoretically...
Curious if the all seasons that come on the car are good enough to keep on to tackle a PA winter or if it's really necessary to go for winter wheels and tires
This is the one I'm talking about: http://www.boombaracing.com/2017-honda-civic-si-blow-off-valve/
I watched a few videos and it sounds really good and is pretty easy to install however in one of these videos (this one in particular: ) almost all the comments are about how having a blow off...
There're countless threads about Type R exhausts but I can't find many for the Si!!! I personally find the stock exhaust a bit too quiet and was looking for a more throaty and buzzy sound. The Injens one on YouTube 10th gen Civic Si sounds really good in my opinion.
EDIT: Here's the link if...
New manual driver, was just wondering if there's any way to use the brake hold button to keep the clutch in and get the revs up to get off of a hill. Only thing is everywhere I'm reading is that it disengages when throttle is given so doesn't that make it useless essentially? Or is that only for...
