It is only 1.5 hours of labor on the TSB, so it is likely fairly accessible without moving things out of the way or dropping the trans. It is also good that they acknowledged it does not cause harm, more of a nuisance (so they say).
My squeak noise is gone with removing the Styrofoam tool holder from the spare tire area. I would think that my bumper would have dried out now from the car wash if that is what may have quieted it down. Will put the tools back in and see. Stay tuned. Still want to investigate this...
Exact same sound here and just noticed it with 12k miles (also just had the dreaded subwoofer rattle popup as well in the past 2 weeks - never had the problem before and have had it almost one year). I did not hear either in warmer summer weather. I *think* the squeak is the styrofoam liner...
Same thing here. See my pictures in this thread:

Let me know how it turns out. I have not brought mine in yet.
I tend to think it is a little bit of both... Have the same or similar issue with my car but only on one side. I adjusted rubber hood mounts on each side of the engine bay (give em a turn) and it got it to 90% (which I am fine with). I do think the front grill piece is inconsistently made or...
Yes, if I push on it it would appear to align and be fine... so it sounds like what I have is common. Maybe I will swing by my dealer an take a look at a few on the lot as well. For your situation, adjusting the moldings would probably be very problematic (not sure how that would be done)...
My rear passenger door is off as well. From the looks of your picture, your door might be a little high? My moldings are a little off on this door where my other doors are fine, but my main issue with the door it is that the rear side of the door panel sticks out. You can mainly tell when...
Sounds like a small stone or piece of debris might be between your brake rotor and dust shield (if you saw nothing apparent dangling from the underside of the car). I have this happen to other cars I have had and caused a similar noise. Eventually the debris just works it way out. Just an idea.
Thanks! I looked a few months ago and just saw the rubber mounts in the middle that do not adjust, but now that I looked again I saw the ones near the edge/fender that you mention. It worked well - and an EASY fix. I would say I got it 90% (which now looks acceptable). Now if I could just...
Any luck with your hood? I basically have the same issue, hood lower on the driver's side. Debating whether to take it in and have them mess with it (fear of making something worse) or if I will just keep living with it.
I have been stalking this thread since January (obviously been experiencing the same issue). I started to notice the issue around 800-900 miles mildly, but then it got so bad I had to perform the battery reset @ 2700 miles. After that is was GREAT for around 400 miles then started to return...
