YUP ! The coupe was a PITA with parking spaces. By the time you open the heavy door it dawns on you that you only have about 6 inches of space to crawl through while all hunched over. That being said, sure wish the Civic Si motor came in the HR-V :)
I am putting in the wrong word -- technology is actually what I was trying to say. Everyday comforts and usability would more accurately pain the picture.
Traded in my 2019 civic Si coupe with 5300 miles on it yesterday. We are a older couple, 68 and 65 and thought we would enjoy the Si more than we did. We soon discovered that what we missed we wanted back --- automatic or CVT transmission - a quiet ride, softer ride, 4 doors, bigger storage...
I am 68 years old and have owned a lot of vehicles with manual transmission. The Civic Si is probably the worst car ever when shifting from 1st to 2nd gear. The jerky ride simple can not be smoothed out. Try shifting at low RPM or high RPM - doesn't matter. If I had to do it all over again...
My windows froze up recently. I called a friend and he said to pour lukewarm water over the problem. I did and the damn computer has never been the same !! :)
Suppose you could buy the new 2020 Corvette. The car has plenty of power ---- but perhaps after a couple of months you would be use to it and wanting more power. Well, just looked out my window and saw that the grass is greener across the road ----- gotta go !!
Sorry if this is a repeat. I am wanting to know if there is a way to set the info screen to come up with the home screen when I start the car ?? I have tried what I can but am not successful.. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
I know everyone says it's normal but my Si sure as hell doesn't rattle like that when started. I'd get it looked at by dealership. Certainly can't hurt anything to have it looked at. I'd protect my investment.
