I love the Type R, and I could have gotten one as well, but it didn't fit my use case for the time being. I didn't want to run a low volume, mecha styled, higher cost sports car as my daily. My commute is long enough that i wouldn't want to put that many kms on it and be paranoid about the...
Nice post, glad you are having fun. I was looking at the Golf GTI too during my initial car search. I have two children as well and they both still need childseats. A big factor for me was practicality as well because even though I prefer hatches, the Golf's interior was noticeably smaller...
Thanks for the response. I hope I didn't come across as negative or anything I think I'm just not used to that style. But I think if you enjoy your ride that is what matters man so zero hate intended. Here's a pic of mine for reference at a similar angle. You might not like how mine looks in...
I like the sound of the Greddy so far from the clips. Does anyone have info on the stated performance gains of this system? I can't find anything as yet. Also, what do you guys think of the bulgy mufflers there? They seem extremely large, hang low and distract from the actual exhaust tips...
Thanks for the input on this. I may not be understanding your sentence, but are you saying that the Accord with the 6MT is about 90% as fun as the Si? If so, that's good to hear. I think the interior space of the accord is excellent compared to the civic.
My only concern would be the cargo...
The Accord is on my list of cars to replace my wife's old Civic coupe. I cannot do an automatic transmission so I was wondering if you had a chance to try the 6 speed 2.0T and what your thoughts on that car were? How does the tranny feel versus the Si? I've driven the 2.0T touring with the...
Are you able to tell me what you selected to get rid of the rev hang? Is it a toggle or box you check at this point? I'm running the basic +6 PSI tune that activates in sport mode but I'm a bit of a newbie to using this unit. Any input is appreciated.
Yes exactly, Canada decided to go with a whole other trim with only two colour options (black/white) for the HFP stuff. So it's a bit different from how it works in the states. Hopefully Canada will have options for separate part orders but I'll have to dig further.
Does the US have an actual trim level called "Si HFP" that slots above the base Civic Si? Because that what I'm talking about here. I haven't seen that on the US site but I do see references to the parts being available to accessorize the Si. It's possible I could have missed seeing that trim...
Has anyone seen this new addition as yet? On Honda.ca there is now an Si HFP trim slotted above the Si. Looks like it comes with all the HFP parts for the Si that I know of: wheels, pilot sport tires, lip , skirts, floor mats, badges and suspension upgrade. Its over 5k more than the standard...
Just an update for people considering the aFe exhaust still. After talking with their support for a bit they confirmed my thoughts on possible adjustments that can be made. You can loosen the clamps at the Y-pipe connection and adjust the muffler portion until you get to the height you want...
