  1. Pouch on back of passengers sear

Yup, it's a '19 coupe. Seems very odd that the sedan would get a seat pouch, but the coupe wouldn't...
  2. Pouch on back of passengers sear

My last civic had pouch on the back of the passengers seat that I found very handy for storing the sun-visor. It's just about the only thing I miss from the old car. I'm thinking about checking with an upholstery shop to see what it would cost to have a custom pouch added, but wanted see if...
  3. Cargo Liner for Si Coupe w/ Spare Tire Kit

Just a guess, but... as I understand it, the spare tire is standard equipment on the Canadian model. Maybe a trunk liner from Canada would work. I found this, but it's not cheap...
  4. How do you store your phone?

I ordered the Kuda base and it looks good, but for the life of me I can't figure out how the little tab on top gets inserted into the dash trim. Can you help out with that?
  5. Hood Replacement

Civics are supper common. Maybe you could find a matching hood at the scrap yard?
  6. How do you store your phone?

This is exactly what I've been looking for. Would you mind expanding on how you put it together (I'm not familiar Kuda or Proclip).
  7. Audio switching to Andriod Auto when phone is plugged in

After owning my '19 Si for about 7 months the audio input started switching to Android Auto whenever I attach my phone. I don't know why it started doing this, and can't figure out how to make it stop. I plug in the phone to keep it charged. use navigation, and once in a while listen to music...
  8. For Si Owners Only: Si vs. Type R --- Would You Give Up Your Si, if Type R was Available for MSRP?

My feelings exactly. If I could get the R in a coupe, with a sun roof, and with out the giant wing, I'd consider it. That said, I'm quite happy with the SI six months in. I am thinking about FP+DP to add a bit more power out of it than the K-Tuner gives me.
  9. After 10 months of planning, saving and waiting my new daily is home.

Congratulations @Nerd-Vol. I have the exact same car except mine is a coupe. Six months in mine and I still love it! By the way, do you have the summer or all season tires? The summers are leaps and bounds better by all accounts if you don't have to drive in cold weather.
  10. CTR (FK8) Brakes on Si/Ex

Is it possible to install the R pads into Si calipers? Would breaking be better due to 'better' brake pad compound?

  12. Honda Quality

Honda does have a pretty weak warranty these days...
  13. Why change the Si's shift knob?

I have the darkest legal tint and a nice new reflective sun shade, and it still gets pretty hot sitting in the Florida sun. And it's not even June yet...
  14. Maintenance minder number changed after flashing to stock

I received a free oil change from the dealer when I bought my '19 Si. Decided to play it extra safe and flash back to stock when I brought it in over the weekend. I am running the TSP Stage 1 Tune that came with the K-tuner. With the TSP tune loaded the MM was reading 40% and I was right around...
  15. Why change the Si's shift knob?

I use the dust cloth I keep in the car to clean the dog fur off the dash on the shifter until it cools down...
  16. First Freeway Trip - Notes

I've seen comments here stating that accelerating in 6th is hard on the clutch. Not sure if that's accurate though.
  17. Flash back to stock before dealership oil change?

I'm going to cash in my one free oil change from the dealership soon. ECU has been flashed by K-Tuner. Do I need to bother with flashing it back to stock? Would they even bother checking the ECU for something as simple as an oil change?
  18. My thoughts after almost 1 year of ownership

I'm just a few days away from 6 months in my '19 and agree with nearly everything. While I do have physical buttons for the HVAC, I really think that if the infotainment system stops working the buttons will probably stop working as well. Hope to never find out for sure. I also know what...
  19. Where do you pump?

Almost always Costco. Love that place!
  20. Honda Civic Electric Parking Brake Problems Lead to Lawsuit

The parking break turns on automatically in my '19 Si in very particualr circumstance: Break Hold is on. Seat belt is buckled. Car is turned off while the break pedal is pressed (not 100% sure about the pedal part). It's so convoluted, I don't bother with relying on the car to turn it on, I...
