1st: 03 v6 mustang vert
2nd: 99 accord sedan
3rd: 2012 Corolla s
4th: 04 FBO maxima
5th: 00 mustang gt vert
6th: ā16 civic lx
Iāve been all over the place but Ford and Honda are my #1ās!!
Yeah the 1.5 has a turbo so the exhaust piping is a little more complicated
I have the catless downpipe and it made a big difference. (ā16 civic lx)Just wish I got the ktuner first. I actually went: intake, exhaust, tuner
Shouldāve gone the other way
In my experience owning this car since 2016, Iāve been pulled over about 2-3 times, waaaay less than when I had my 03 mustang gt in white. I feel like itās more likely to be seen, but I feel like brightly colored cars are dismissed because criminals wanna remain Lowkey
Unfortunately, my car is a 2016 lx so I didnāt get the joy of paddle shifters
The install was pretty straight forward, it was only 3 bolts and itās basically the same dimensions as stock but slightly thicker at points and heavier
I assume itāll swap over with the paddles simply enough
On my fc2 I have the catless rv6 dp, aem CAI, and Ktuner, my favorite part of the day is cold starts haha
Overall, I donāt feel that itās too loud. Looking to get a custom exhaust in the future because I donāt like how the invidia looks
Also, Iām under the impression that the rv6 dp is 2.5...
The wiring harness for my oem tail lights was causing me problems and tickets so it gave me an excuse to buy some new taillights, these are what I got
Looks alright imo
Speaking from experience, the rv6 dp made a huge difference in the sound and feel of the car.
Got it installed at an exhaust shop and I was very surprised by the sound upon start up. After that, I was surprised by the torque gained on the low end. It ran a little rough until after the ktune.
I agree! My cvt has a CAI, downpipe, and ktuner and I havenāt pushed it too much but I donāt have trouble merging onto the freeway anymore. Iām curious to see how it performs on a dyno. Definitely made the car more enjoyable, only need a little drop and a nice wheel setup :dunno:
