I have to say, I love my CivicX, but If mice chew up any of my wiring, especially since I don't live anywhere near a mouse infested area, I sure as heck will be doing anything I can to make sure they fix it at no cost to me if this Soy wiring shielding is true. Even if it comes down to a...
This is just sad and supports my one week post-purchase impression of this car. I'm afraid of even leaning onto my car, waxing it, hail, parking it in an area with people (clubs, etc) in fear of someone leaning on it, etc, etc. Honda REALLY failed us on this one.. Major fail!!
I want to...
There's a new issue recently discovered that might take away focus from this and make i told news.. You will want to read this and check your Civics!!

I am not convinced these specific dents are from running the car through a car wash. Mine has them and I haven't once gone through a car wash. Also, I can see how the hood might dent from washing or waxing, I've felt it pop and flex as I've hand washed/waxed mine, but the pillars?
I still...
Well, I checked mine and no "Dents" in the usual sense of the word, but on the drive side, same area as the rest of you, I have a bit of a... for lack of a better word, dent outward rather than in. Like it was hit with a small object from the inside. What on earth? That kills my original theory..
@unlimitedh I have had Audi's, I have had, BMW's and even briefly had a Jag. First, they were in the shop more often than anyone has the patience for. Second, if you supposedly can afford such cars, why on earth would you opt for a lower level Civic over the EX-L or Touring?
There's a name...
The day after I got my Civic home for the first time, I noticed two indentations on the hood near the center and immediately took it in. They could not repair it without some bodywork that would require painting and several days. I would not have that, so they opted to change the hood from one...
"Cracked" piston snap ring? That would definitely be a concern as it would indicate poor materials being used in the making of the snap rings. They should certainly not crack and if one did, the others could as well. The recall was for missing or miss-set snap rings which was an assembly...
Yeah, umm.. Just yesterday, I HAD to use my horn to wake up some unaware driver that was about to hit me and it felt more like I was riding a moped than driving a car. I ended up having to throw my car into reverse to avoid being hit on the side as that driver still had no clue I was there after...

@MSMCivicEX I too am averaging 26 or so mpg, but still braking her in. I do have a long highway trip in early June and by then she should be past her 600 mile break-in, so I look forward to seeking my mpg's in the 40's. :)
That is a removable trim insert on the bottom center of the rear bumper, so it shold be easy to remove and customize.. Not sure if the metal bumper insert gets inthe way though, I haven't looked yet.
From what I've seen, our 10th gen have and are only wired for 1 horn and it is located next to the passenger side fog light. You can only get to it by either removing the bumper or from the bottom by removing the panel but it's really difficult that way.
