I’ve gotten this multiple times, 2 ways:
Dead battery
Turn car off, (accidently) push again, push for accessory mode, push to turn off..to cycle all the way through..
next time I start the car I get the errors.
I believe because of the quick on and off of ignition or low power, the start up...
I had that happen on my 8th gen, 2 days after the dealer replaced the entire AC system, chasing down a Freon leak. That one hurt emotionally and financially.
Something kicked up on the freeway in Yuma in the middle of summer and blew out all the new gas in 115 degree BFE.
It happens.:dunno:

Same, I usually switch to speaker phone and reboot the head unit (push and hold power). When it comes back, it will ask to transfer the call back to handsfree and no static. Super annoying.
I had this temporarily happen after I was using ACC and there was a sudden stop in front of me. The clicking started after that, and would happen even every time I hit the brake myself...
A couple days later it stopped, but it was really annoying.
If it didn't stop, I was going to take it to...
Over the last 10k here are my findings

Im pretty sure that's the turbo. I live in Arizona, and notice a good 10-20 hp difference from a cold morning to a hot afternoon. It's harder for forced induction when there's less of it from expansion. My buddy with a turbo mustang pointed it out to me when I mentioned one day I feel like it...
Typically on a DC motor, overspeed speed will cause additional centrifugal forces on the commutator, windings and brushes and vibrate the armature. BUT this might, and probably, is still within operating spec.
I've heard plenty of people over-starting the $#!7 out of their cars, and no problems...
Getting the same sound here. IMO it sounds like the starter is engaging slightly too long, and it winding down from overspeed.
If you didnt have push button, you could probably replicate it by holding the key forward in the start position.
