And general question for anyone running iOS10 on their daily phone.
Should I install it? Is it stable? Have you guys noticed any major bugs or popular apps that don't work?
I have it installed on my iPad Air and it's fairly stable, just wondering if it'll be the same on my iPhone 6 plus
This is how mine has worked since getting my car with my phone running ios9.3. As soon as I let go, Siri stops listening and I'm still on 9.3.
Also you're a good one to ask, with an EXT like myself, can you get directions in your instrument cluster? I fear that's a touring only option since...
Yup, thanks for the tip but our trip was a month ago. We had a great time but the weather was crap. Rained basically the whole weekend we were there and only cleared up on the morning we were leaving.
Car did amazingly well for the full trip. Just over 1750km on less than 2 tanks of fuel...
K, so I'm assuming that this feature won't be coming to non touring cars... Next question...
Can Honda activate this feature or full Nav in an EX-T for a fee?
I know that with android auto I didn't see any option to add that to my instrument cluster. I've got both android and iOS but I prefer iOS for day to day use.
This is what I want to know most. I understand that for directions in the cluster you have to have built in Nav on touring trim level. I've got an EX-T. Will this feature come to my car with iOS 10 or will Honda still block it out bc I don't have garmin built in?
No I wouldn't buy my EX-T again... I'd buy a touring instead.
It's a great car... Most ppl come to forums to complain. Happy people are quiet. I've not had any issues with my car at all. It's always run perfectly and that mileage still shocks me every time I fill up.
Great, fun, reliable...
It's all personal preference. I personally think Audi's look boring AF unless You get into the R8 territory. If I knew nothing else about the cars and chose based purely on looks, I'd pick the CivicX over the Audi A7 you posted any day of the week.
Looks are subjective... Some prefer blondes...
Honda engineers said it made no difference which octane you use bc the ECU will adjust the timing regardless so performance should be the same.
If you search this forum for "octane" you'll find a few threads already discussing it. In one of those threads someone posted a video of an interview...
I did that exactly as I read online but it was really hot that day so I think the earlier coats had dried more than normal.
I dunno I'm debating doing the whole car now. Trying to figure out if it'll be worth it.
I was debating between Aegean blue and modern steel. Had my car 3 months now and I'm very happy I chose modern steel. Tint the windows and the car looks sleek and more sophisticated than the blue. I think the grey also looks more aggressive. Definitely happy I switched away from the blue.
Plastidip recommends at least 5 coats so if you're only doing three coats black, do at least 2 coats of gloss or else it'll be a bitch to peel off.
I waited 30 mins between each coat I put on and I treated the gloss just like the black.
I ended up with 4 coats black and 3 gloss, each applied...
