Thanks man. I was running 19x9.5 +38 Rays previously and while the offset and look was incredible, I could no longer take the rubbing. Even with trimming/cutting a bunch of the rear inner fender out of the way, I still rubbed like crazy and couldn't carry passengers without severe rubbing due to...
I'm here in the Ft. Huachuca area with my R and there are no others around here.....so I selfishly vote that you bring your R so we can link up and hit the roads together!! hahahaha
I've been on Swift springs for about a month now with no issues. I can't see how this would happen from the springs themselves. They shouldn't even contact the boot. Like you said, I feel it would have to have been damaged during install. Following this though to see if anyone else chimes in...
I am running Swift springs on 19x9.5 +38 GramLights with 255/35/19's and -2 camber all around. I was rubbing front and rear. The front wasn't horrible, but I went ahead and trimmed the liner a bit and completely cut off the little tab where it was rubbing. The rear was rubbing really bad with...
Had to go ahead and knockout a fender trim/cut to stop the rubbing. I'm running 19x9.5, +38 Rays Gramlights 57Transcend's on 255/35/19 Indy 500s and Swift Spec-R springs. It was rubbing way more than I expected and this was a much easier "fix" then I expected. Took a little over 90 mins with...
I'm running 19x9.5 ET38 GramLights on 255/35/19's with stock suspension and love the setup. No issues or rubbing at all and looks to be plenty of room for a drop. I have Swift springs sitting in my garage and hoping to do the install in the next few weeks when I can get the time.
What's up AZ crew!? Checking in from way down south in Bisbee, AZ. Picked up a 2018 CTR a few weeks back and figured I better check in and say hi
37 when I got mine. Had a 99 EM1 for a few years before it was stolen. Owned several different Si's over the years and could not have been more stoked when the Type R became available. Took a little bit to actually snag one without paying markup, but I couldn't be happier now that it's in my garage!
Mounted up some Ray's GramLight 57Transcend's in matte bronze and then installed a color matched windshield visor.
