The blower is definitely underpowered. It's loud at max flow but not very powerful. But despite that, for me, it cools well enough after maybe 5-7 min in 90 degree heat. My windows are tinted though, but it doesn't matter when starting the car and thermometer says its 110F at the sensor. At 45...
I just had this issue. Got the e-brake to engage then it wouldn’t disengage. The car wouldn’t turn on and eventually the start button light wasn’t even working. Totally dead.
I think it was the battery terminals. Thankfully a food truck owner parked right in front of me had a 10 mm socket in...
Thanks a lot! I pride myself on specificity. :p
In the end, I've had the car for a few years now and have gotten used to it, but dang if I didn't wish I could still get rid of it.
Yeah I have zero malfunctions so...I dunno about it being the airbags. Seems to be a bit of an exposed place to put an airbag sensor. I would think it would be deeper in a bit, so that a minor plastic fender bender like this doesn’t total your car!
All is well, thanks. I will probably get the bumper replaced, but it’s honestly mostly reparable as it is if I can get behind it and pop it back out. We shall see.
Someone hit me and this sensor busted through the bumper. Just wondering what it’s for! Maybe it isn’t a sensor at all but electrical for the fog lights?
I have a 2019 sport if it matters.
Fun. Hopefully this is not everyone’s future!
They recharged mine and I’m currently driving 1.5k so they can find the leak. Hopefully singular.
No charge so far despite being outside the warranty.
Nice! Glad it worked out.
Oh I definitely will should it be necessary, thankfully the dealer near me is very cooperative and is doing the diagnosis for free. Sadly, they're booked up for an entire week.
I expect the service manager will fight for me against corporate to cover the cost. This...
Basically, it is what it is. Nothing is "wrong", except for the fact that it's shittily designed...lol. Now I know all the things to look for next time I buy a car...working A/C, a transmission that shifts before the day is over...
Happy (and super sad) to report that the 2019's have this exact same issue, too. My car for the last few months has had this issue and honestly never really got that cold in high heat--even last year. But this year I drive 10-20 min on the freeway and it still isn't freezing. If I'm not going 70...
I filled up only 1 gallon when I was relatively near empty (to try and keep the tank low for the fuel pump recall) and neither the range nor the fuel gauge *itself* changed at all, lol. I thought the gas station pump was broken!
Now my range is averaging down much much slower than actual miles...
Rattle sounds like a plastic bag in the wind, kinda. But more solid plastic than bag.
The threshold temp at which this happens varies. It seems like there's some piece of flexible plastic almost within reach of the front vents that i can grab and pull out to get rid of the sound--but of course...
Brand new 2019 Sport CVT, less than a week old, has been making these clicking or gurgling noises when shifting from P to D or D to P. It seems to be a pretty consistent noise every time. Shifting is generally smooth, makes no audible sounds other than this. Also, the car takes a long time to...
I’ll resurrect an ancient thread:
My 2019 revs a bit when going from R to D and vice versa. And it does seem to take eons compared to my old manual. If I shift really fast it minimizes it, but it still does it.
To baby the transmission I was shifting slowly from R to N to D but that just made...
Thanks for all the input, guys. It's a very tiny nick, honestly maybe .75 x 2 mm. I'm sensitive to rattling so I don't want anyone replacing anything on my brand new car if I don't have to have it replaced. Although if I get new speakers put in maybe I'll just do it then.
The dealer put it in...
