No worries, nope completely pointless as the airbox sits on top so you wouldn’t be able to see it. Only thing I probably would have done is wrap it in gold reflective tape

Nope no holes as its only the over arch, the arch liner connect to the metal part of the arch which is quite high up the arch

Yes the flared part of the arch (painted bit) is plastic, all I did was drive around for a few days in comfort to let it rub. Jacked the car up and you could see where it was rubbing, trimmed the plastic arch (inside so isn’t visible) hey presto. No extreme arch work or cutting metal or arch...
