I have the Si coupe as well 2019, and it’s ok when it comes to handling. I will say that the Volkswagen GTI is by far a better handling car, but then again you’re paying 3k to 5k more
That’s some spot on commonsense, and the reason I own an SI Coupe. Own meaning paid for, and same goes for my house. I can afford to own a Type R, but I wasn’t willing to pay 5K above MSRP which happened to be the case in January 2019.
Since then I’ve been 100% satisfied with my SI. I also...
I couldn’t find anything about 2019 SI Coupe having oil dilution issues, but did see them in 2017-18 models. I’ll take the cool civic, with turbo, LSD, and to me it looks better than all the civics including type are. I also have no intentions of keeping any car for 350k miles. I’m hoping to get...
Thanks, I’m pretty sure I’ll be ok. I’m not planning on trying to reach 300k, but like hearing stories of people that do. I typically own a car for 10yrs / 125k to 150k and then buy a new one. My SI also isn’t modified, once my warranty expires I might get a ktuner but that’s it. I love this...
Thanks for the info much appreciated, makes sense. I guess we shall see what type of mileage these 1.5 turbo engines will get in the next 5 to 10yrs. I knew about the dilution issue, but I thought they were referring to the 2017, and 2018 models. This along with the volume knob lol should of...
I’m just curious, and this might be a dumb question since I’m not that mechanically inclined when it come to engines. I own a 2019 SI Coupe, and am wondering what makes you think that the 1.5L turbo in the SI won’t last as long as the 2.0 In the sport? Does a turbo engine typically not last as...
