The USB type just plugs into the USB (I'm not sure if the center console one works). I can't remember off-hand, but there was some experimentation needed to figure out the settings for the baud rate in Torque Pro. But it works.

Try rebooting it. Hold the power button for a long time. It may or may not ask if you want to reboot. I have occasionally (not lately on the newest rev) had this and it freaked me out. It was usually when I tried to install some apk that was incompatible. Good luck!

Good point. It's often hard to find old enough versions. I use an extension called apk downloader to at least get close, but often they aren't compatible. One of these days I'd like to put a google drive folder with the apps I know to work.

I've rebooted 3 times so far, and at least one of those was with the instrument cluster disabled and unconfigured... I don't use AA or CarPlay. Just Waze on the head-unit. I'm going to try the 'hang-up' long press as izzyC-EX suggested.

I installed it and it worked great untill yesterday. Now I just get spinning icon. I tried rebooting and also reconfiguring off/on but no fix. Anyone have a fix? I haven't tried uninstalling the test version yet. I'm afraid I'll have to set everything up again.

Turn off recirculating. This will bring fresh, dry air from the outside. Unless it's raining.

Yes, it should work with a phone (I haven't tried). You'll need an adapter to convert USB-A to the USB type your phone uses. With the head unit it 'just works'. This is the one I bought. Note that if buying again I'd look for one with a lower profile or one where the cable doesn't go...

I do this with Torque installed on my HondaHacked head unit. Needed to use a USB OBD2 dongle because the HU won't see my (or any?) BT OBD2.

Yeah, I'm following the thread just to see if anyone hacks it into an earlier year or maybe even SI. I know it's a long-shot, and even if someone did, it probably would have broken features.
