Got a tire wear question, please look at my rear tire, the rubber build up is on the inside edge. 2018 SI on 255-40 17 RE-71R, rear progress sway bar. Front at 36 psi, rear at 32 psi. Does this look unusual?
Factory 2017-2019:Si rear sway bar and end links. 8000 miles. Nice upgrade for a non Si owner (18mm vs 16.5mm). Perfect condition. $70 plus shipping.
Prefer local pickup, SoCal LAX area
I set mine up for GS too.
I got a great deal on tires and wheels from Tirerack, balanced and delivered. They are 255 40-17 RE71R on 17X8 +48 wheels (can't remember the name of the wheels right now but I can check tonight if you want).
I'm in Redondo if you want to see what they look like.
5inn ,I've been looking at the Eibach 22mm rear sway bar. I can only assume that it's stiffer since it is a solid bar and it's 1.4mm larger in diameter than the CTR bar. I worry that it doesn't have welded on locating rings to keep it from shifting under load.
It seems to me that especially on the coupes the side bolster of the front seat is going to get the most wear (from rubbing against it while getting in and out).
I suppose the second most wear will be on the butt section of the drivers seat.
I've searched this thread and not found an answer so.... I'm looking for advice on starting pressures for my SI running 255/40-17 RE71s and stock rear sway bar. I done a fair amount of autocross but I'm not truly competitive.
Does anyone have any real world experience yet with 10th gen civic SI wheel and tire combinations? I've been thinking 17x8 +45 wheels wrapped in 245/45-17 RE11's. Any thoughts?
I agree with the others, 7" wide rims are too narrow for 245 wheels.
So I'm also thinking of getting a second set of wheels and tires for Autocross. I'm thinking 17X8 +45 16# rims wrapped up in 245/45-18 RE11's. Can anyone here with autocross experience tell me if I'm heading in the right...
