Fyi DC Alternators has a 270 amp HO alternator for us available. I spoke to them today and they just need the alternator pulley diameter measurement using a caliper from the top of the rib to get the ratio correct to make one.
My Xclutch twin solid organic has been great. Close to Oem pedal engagement rated to 800 ft lbs.
my last build was close to 600 ft lbs to the wheel 680 whp.
Also what exactly are the trade offs limiting 25 degrees of timing to vtec? I understand itās there to avoid piston to valve contact in case the tuner adjusts too much timing. Spool time slower? Power and torque gains? Can the ignition adjustment loss be compensated possibly by changing the vtec...
Cool thanks for the reply. Daniel Butler did my last tune, Motec M142 Vit package I did send a message to confirm the air to fuel and ignition timing maps have a safety buffer to drive the car normally, conservatively till I have him retune for these camshafts.
Without going through this whole thread, what is the surface Rockwell HRC rating? What exactly is the metal material used to make these? Tool steel, made from cnc forged billet blanks? Also is there is the hardening process like black nitride, shot peened, or forging since these where designed...
I guess I may have gotten the last TR2 early morning online shopping. š
Curious what this will do to my powerband. Built block, ported head, Ferrea off the shelf valve train, port injection, ID1700x, surge tank, Motec M142 Vit package. G30-770 ewg, 4 port mac solenoid. Current rev limit 8700...
I think the rubber gasket clears the hole on the left side of the 3.5 Accord throttle body and will seal. If not which orientation would seal? Iām going to have to wait till I see my tuner to make the adjustments on the Motec M142 after I install it there. I had put it on but on the car isnāt...
So should I just install it? š Did you open up the metal gasket to match the opening of the bigger throttle body? If the gasket is smaller Iāll trace the opening on the metal gasket with a fine sharpie and use a Dremel with a drum sander to match it.
I know, it is forced induction but thereās got to be an effect enlarging the throttle body. Weāll see if I gain anything. I suspect it to be up top. My head has stock type R camshafts but off the shelf Ferrea Valve train, port and polished removing the fuel tumbling restriction from 160 cfm to...
I was just there a couple weeks ago. Eman installed a new organic twin disc X Clutch that replaced a Clutch Masters ceramic twin disc that the hydraulic throw out bearing was leaking and not holding pressure. He had to order a new clutch fork, oem hard lines, and his modified cmc. A few weeks...
