nice pickup! Love what Toyota is doing as far as keeping lightweight, affordable RWD cars alive. Looking forward to reading your impressions on the BRZ vs the CTR ( e.g., steering, shifter, drivetrain, handling and fun factor).
GT4s gave also done up in value I hear. But putting aside “investment,” do you enjoy the 997 GT3 more than the GT4? Happy with the move? I was actually considering the GT4 vs 997/991.2 GT3 when prices correct (if that ever happens).
Great deal at $295 for a quick sale: Selling 1 mint FK8 wheel + oem tire with only only 150-200 miles on it (from a 2019 Type R). Great as a spare wheel should you get a flat tire or damaged wheel. When FK8 wheels come up for sale, most sellers are trying to move 4 wheels at the same time, so...
they are reputable yes, although they failed to really do a proper test of the LE here. In my opinion, it’s doubtful the speculation of a base CTR using the LE tires/wheels package would perform just as well (stock vs stock; same driver and conditions), as the LE suspension software was...
I’d take this review with a grain of salt. Although not necessarily the culprid, apparently they didn’t do the research to shut off traction control, which they were struggling with.. All reviews by the other reputable review Chanels have only praise for the LE
Sorry to hear this! Sounds like the sales person didn’t handle this well internally or the dealer decided to cash in more. Keep at it—you will find one. Try to deal with the sales manager or GM only when possible.
Your trade offer is just about MSRP? If so, that’s very good. Is the dealer local to you? If so, that’s a plus. Have you tried other dealers to compare their trade offer vs LE price? 52k is considered a reasonable deal in this mkt.. If you really want the LE give it another push on this...
49k is very good if they offer at least 34k on the trade, as there’s about 2k in tax savings with the trade. Cars in the 49 will move quick in this market. It’s unknown if things will get better or worse in the coming months as far as ADM. There’s some speculation that we may not get 600...
Wow! Congrats on the great deal! Especially for FL. I see you sold your CTR car privately, but did they ever give you a trade-in offer for your previous CTR?
FL is one one the worst markets to get a strong dealer trade. Best best is to work look in SC,NC, TN. There’s a coupe of LEs at 10k over in TN and you should get at least another $1000-1500 for your trade there. With a clean CTR trade, it should also be a incentive for them to flex on...
Interesting. Have you been asking for what these dealers in the low 50s are offering on your trade? Curious on the range. What price are you looking for the LE in order for you to purchase?
