255/40/17 is your best setup for this car, and it will fit fine for 17x8. 245/45/17 will not rub, but I am not a big fan because of ‘mushy’ sidewall. Personally I think this size sucks!

Yup, very odd failure, and it was really annoying that it happened the night before champ tour ?. Initially Honda said it would take 3-4 weeks to get the module but after few discussions they were able to get me one within a week.

Si is muuuch better than HS civic. Drove the underprepared Civic Sport in Peru champ tour (running in GS) after my Si decided to quit on me with Control module failure…super bouncy compared to my Si. Would love to try the R next time!
