  1. Imagine if the Si got the current Type R 2.0T and the new Type R got AWD and a 2.4T from outgoing Si

Doubtful. But who knows, maybe with the standard model already far surpassing the outgoing one, they'll give the Si and TypeR a huge leap forward too by doing something like this. What current Acura model would that be? Or you mean a new sportier Acura model?
  2. What is the most important info we don't know?

Maybe press outlets already have the cars and can start driving them around right after the reveal tomorrow but C&D mistakenly took the car out? Or maybe all this was a planned 'oops' moment!
  3. 2016 Honda Civic Inside-Outside & Under (Video & Pics)

Just noticed this - Why does an automatic car need an e-brake?
  4. 2016 Honda Civic Inside-Outside & Under (Video & Pics)

I don't think anything but maybe the Type R would really benefit much from a dual clutch transmission other than bragging rights kind of thing. CVT and conventional autos have gotten so good anyways..
  5. What is the most important info we don't know?

Waiting to see the hatch in any form. SO far only seen patent drawings I think since it has not been spied testing yet. Ill be curious what the spec differences are between the various models too.
  6. 2016 Civic coupe and sedan design patent drawings revealed!

Are those cutouts at bottom of the rear bumper for split dual exhaust pipes?
  7. 2017 2018 Civic Type R likely (not earlier)

I'm sure they dont but at least there is enough volume apparently for the companies to offer them while the domestic brands here pump out the same boring cars or import watered down versions compared to the European/Asian counterparts. Even the domestic companies know this... It took Ford how...
  8. Limited production of Type R Civic for US market?

That'd be sooo lame. Announce the car finally for the US and then limit the numbers.
  9. 2016 Type-R what form - hatch, coupe, sedan?

Would many ppl actually want it in anything other than the 5 door hatch? That's what the Type-R has become synonymous with. A Type-R Coupe or Sedan wouldn't even seem like the real thing to me.
  10. How production ready is the Civic concept?

Pretty sure they already said Fall 2015 is when it will be available. That's about 6 months or so away but for most of us I'm guessing more unless you are opting for the sedan.
  11. 2017 2018 Civic Type R likely (not earlier)

They do have a point tho. The fact that hot hatches are less popular than boring sedans says a lot about the market. Unfortunately most of the country apparently can't spot a good thing, they are to blame for us not getting a lot of the exciting cars in Europe.
