Honda dealership reset the parking angle sensor for $180 including the $11 shop supplies for plugging in. No faults and good to go. I guess the take away is if your steering rack is that far off from dropping your subframe or an accident or something, get the alignment done at the dealership...
I reset ECU to factory tune and the faults didn't clear. They stayed on and appeared as soon as keying on, just like before. I guess I'm off to the dealership for $150 diag and hopefully they can reset the steering angle sensor, if that's the problem.
Honda says the The FL5 spoiler is more efficient than the FK8 spoiler and provides 66lbs downforce at 124mph. Playing with the numbers is fun but 700lbs seems about 10x high.
The subframe was dropped for my trans fix and afterwards the steering wheel was about 35* off to the right. I installed the magic collars and got an alignment today. After the alignment my steering wheel is now straight but I have a Christmas tree of lights. They took a 2 mile test drive and he...
You're saying you "rub running on 235/40/r18" and asking if you'll rub on a larger size?
I ask because the 235/40 on 18x8.5+38 definitely shouldn't rub. The 245/40 might rub a tiny bit on sharp turns with compression but should be safe.
Pherable "God mode" tunes burble on decel.

My tunerview freezes on my head unit really often. I exit tunerview, then press a button on the steering wheel I have remapped to "clear memory and cache" in Hondahack, then tunerview usually works. Have you tried that instead of unplugging?
I have eibach front and rear sway bars but they didn't come with any links. I used accord rear links and kept factory front, though I considered the white line adjustable front links. What subframe brace are you referring to?
Your factory plastic end link broke? You should get the metal accord end links. Make sure to add a lock washer when installing too!

As many of the civics and other Honda's that are recalled, I've still yet to read about the lpfp actually failing on the forums or anything though.
No, the ethanol itself isn't the problem. It's the high cylinder pressure/ high torque generated from the aftermarket high power ethanol tunes. Ethanol has a higher octane than premium gas, so you can mix about 35% ethanol with premium gas to get the highest possible octane, and then tune more...
I think that's a hell of a deal, especially with a good known history! With the money saved, you could put away a grand in case head gasket or other issues arise down the line. If you're often getting into it with a high torque tune or ethanol tune the head gasket could be on borrowed time but...
I've never seen the head bolts break, or any of the other bolts for that matter. My belt tensioner broke when pulling everything off though. I would be hesitant of a Honda dealership doing the work unless you've talked to them about using head studs you supply. Absolutely dont repair with...
The problem is an inharant design flaw. There's only like maybe 0.120” between the siamese bored cylinders. So Honda in all their wisdom puts a coolant channel between them, then there's like 0.050" of gasket to hold all that pressure. It will blow out especially if you dont have the extra...
I used OEM the first time and and it lasted another year. Used Cometic head gasket the second time with head studs and that combo has held for 3 years.
Not trying to be rude but it's shocking you already bought the wheels without doing the research. You will need to cut your fenders off before you install them, there's no way around that. That offset is more than extreme. Your asking how to make it work and the answer is you just can't.
