Thanks this is great to hear, and thanks @Ducota for the feedback too.
I think I'll stick to the Powerflex as I'm also based in the UK and it seems easier to get my hands on these sooner.
Thanks @pinhead66, I did see this thread and the information in it has already been very useful.
Could you clarify for me please, you mention in post #11 that 'the arms themselves are a copy of the OEM structure' so effectively you achieved the same result as swapping out just the bushings on...
Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with changing their lower control arm bushings with polyurethane bushings for added rigidity/stiffness was it a worthwhile upgrade?
Lately it feels like the car has been floating on top of the road, and steering less responsive.
Can't find many...
Well it was as silly as I thought it was.
Just an update in case anyone is still interested or could use the information in the future. Will be providing closure soon as have started disassembling the engine to find the issue. Recently started a new job and also have had unpleasant weather...
Oh I see, I was going by the information on the wikipedia page of the L15 engine. Thanks for pointing that out for me. This might be a silly question, forgive me lol, wouldn't boring the cylinders impact the ability to achieve the required compression?
I'll be honest it's likely I'll save the...
Sorry for the delay in posting, been a long week without my daily driver.
Had to get the car recovered from where it was to a friend's house who has a driveway as working on it where it sat would have been impractical.
Unfortunately didnt get to use my borescope camera yet as I haven't been...
Thanks for the reply gtman
Honestly... I push it hard every day. Pretty spirited during the day to begin with and WOT as often as I can as soon as it's all warmed up and the roads are a bit safer/clearer later in the day. No stranger to the redline but not necessarily hanging around up there...
Thanks hobby-man, just ordered one now and as soon as it arrives I'll take a look.
You think I could have bent a rod just using a Hondata +9 base map? Literally everything else stock apart from a RMM.
Just a lil update, got myself a RMM from 27Won and I guess I was enjoying the feel of it a little too much. Broke something in my engine, not sure yet. Will provide updates on my other thread.

Edit: For clarification I don't...
So my car decided to play jokes with me during my drive yesterday and I guess it really wanted the last laugh.
Will have to remove the valve cover first and pray for the best. Hoping it will not require a total rebuild.
No CEL and no DTC's and also going by the sound it is probably something...
Thanks for your help Gruber, I guess I'm glad to know I'm not alone in my confusion but I am just slightly annoyed Honda hasn't made it clearer. My booklet even states in the maintenence section:
'Except European and South African models' or 'Ukranian models'
Neither of these apply to me and...

Hey guys, this might be a silly question but I am genuinely confused here.
Previously I have had my servicing done by the dealership for MM codes A, B and AB. Checking my service booklet it seems that when I take it in for just the B service my oil and oil filter are not changed.
I currently...
Reviving an old thread...
I had actually updated the software and flashed the ECU to the +6 tune regarding my last post saying the problem was fixed. Recently I have flashed back to the +9 base tune and the problem I had originally described is still there. So I guess I'm stuck between having...
Thanks! Going to look into this.
From looking online I can't hear similar noises from other high pressure fuel pumps but I can't find a video on a Honda one and I guess they all work slightly differently. Will try and see if I can get a mechanic to take a look at mine. Relatively inexpensive...
Good news from the dealership then!
That A service on your maintenance minder is a regular oil change. It might be correct as my maintenance minder gives me an A code or a B code (oil or oil and filter) roughly every 6k miles, to be fair I do drive pretty spiritedly about the town.
Would also...
A good set of brushes goes a long way in the engine bay especially for the kind of dirt you're describing and can really get in the hard to reach places. Would then follow this up with and spray cleaners if necessary.
Thanks for your help so far and sorry for the delay, I was awaiting the delivery of the stethescope.
The engine has 27k miles and I have been running the Hondata base map +6 PSI for about 20k of those miles, I've tried to pinpoint the sound with the stethescope and include a picture of where I...
