I want to flip that....
ECO on = hondata
Regular = OEM standard tune
is that something I can do with standard hondata or is that something I'd have to get custom done (likey)
meet? <boring>
How about driving your car at it's limit?
Auto-X at Meadowlands. I'm there a bunch in my hatch, there are a few other 10th gen civics and usually 2 drivers with a TypeR
http://www.motorsportsne.com/
other groups around.... NNJR, NEPA, Philly SCCA,
the typical autoX magnets are not rated for track speeds. The odds are they will fly off.
Use painters tape on the rear door glass and stick on when you know your number when you get to the track.
I have had some clubs hand out free numbers and/or you can buy from them for $1 per number
MSR..... hahahahahahhahahahaha, buffoons
still think scca should give priority to people who have qualified with 2 national events to make sure they get a chance to reg first, Then say the next day (or whenever) open it up for all
if you plan on selling the car anytime soon or trading in at dealer, DON'T SELL THE WHEELS. You will take a big hit at the dealership and most average people don't want your after market wheels
I also was looking for the same car but I only wanted Grey. At the time (Nov) there were only 4 within 200 miles of NYC. I got mine!
no, the sport trim is bogus (IMHO) +6 hp and +13ish TQ please?!?! Then add in some cosmetic stuff. Sure the wheels are bigger and heavier but the OEM wheels...
With other groups I have been with, a couple Canadians have come. from near Montreal and Ottawa. They took an extended vacation with the meetup as just part of the overall trip
Don't do anything until you determine if you like autoX.
The only thing to upgrade on your car for the first few events is the driver experience. The car is WAY better than the driver is and will be for a long time.
yes 200TW tires will be helpful.
Smokey Mountains in TN/NC. On a map, look up Deal's Gap, NC
I am also from CT and drive down each year in Sept to drive around the region for about a week. Lots of BBQ, area roads and some tourist sites. Well worth the drive
