Hey @KTuner
I want to ask regarding European fk7 models:
From my observations our fan turns on near 101C and that is 213F. I can't see this value in the default table on the tune under any of the "speed 1/2/3". Is it already adapted for the best option "for the masses"?
Vehicle: 2018 Hatchback Fk7 sport model manual (International model)
Total tuned time: 2 - 2.5 years
Tuned miles driven: ~22000
Tuning device(s) used: KTuner v2.0
Tunes used: Ktuner base maps; Phearable custom made map
Fuel used: 91; 93
Additional related mods: 27Won...
Great idea to drop more info here!
As for the post intercooler temps:
What intercooler you have? Did you saw any difference before and after installing the CAI? I am asking since I have the 27won intercooler too but there was zero effect on post intercooler temperatures for me :(
Hey!
Yes my car is tuned with the ktuner base map for now.
I went with the street MAF since I am not planning to change my turbo so cant see any point in going RACE for now. The turbo is so damn bottle neck anyway in these cars, especially in fk7.
Hey everyone
I want to share with you guys my experience with the 27WON CAI after few weeks of using it. To make it easy to follow I will split it into 5 main aspects. If you have any questions that I forgot to mention here please feel free to write down or PM me.
1. Quality
The product is...
Hey everyone
Today I went back from 27won RMM to the stock one.
For my surprise, my LTFT went up from -7-10% to -2-4%.
The question is, how it is possible that RMM change affect the LTFT?!!!
First of all thank you for an answer.
I read all the replies at this topic. From what I understood that if I am not planing to make this car a track car - I suposed to get the SI bars.
Still, the question is - do I need both of them (front and rear) or only rear is ok?
Hello everyone
My car is 2018 Civic HB sport trim (manual). Since I dont want to touch the ECU upgrades before the end of the warranty I decided to upgrade the handling and friction of my car in the first 3 years.
The first station will be tires (I decided to stay with 17" for now but upgrade...
Hello everyone
After reading dosens of topics on the forum I understood that for a new user Ktuner system is better option than Hondata Flashpro.
The first question is - am I right? What is the main difference between 2 systems except thr touch screen?
The second and the third question are -...
Hello to everyone
I want to create a topic to share the information we got until now about OEM spare parts makers. We all can save money buying "aftermarket" parts of the same quality as the OEM and I just think this is a great info for any driver here.
P.S. makers may vary between countries...
So basicly, for a daily driver that only once a year (or even less) will take his car for a track and maybe sometimes will drive hard on a main road - this is just a cosmetic upgrade. A little improvement will appear, but not something really noticeable. Guess I should just buy good tires, good...
I think I explained my self not good.
I didnt want to change the brakes - normal brake disk from good brand with UV coating should be enough for a compact car.
My main question was - is it right to change from 17 alloy wheels to 18? In the end its almost 800$ that I will need to spend and I feel...
Hello everyone
My car came with 235/45/r17 tires and 17 disks.
I think about replacing it with 235/40/r18 (and buying 18 disks) but I am not sure that I am doing the right thing.
What will be the effect? Better handling? Worse MPG? Better braking and accelerating? Maybe something else I didnt...
Hello everyone.
I want to ask for an advise about engine oil.
I live in a very hot area - winter temperatures doesnt get below -3, -5 C and normally just +5,+10 C...and summer temperatures can get over 40 C. For now I use the OEM oil that comes from the factory - 0w20. But for our area I am...
Hello everyone
I wanted to ask - my current tires are stock Michelin parmacy 3. I dont feel like these tires are very good.
What tires you guys use or think is better? I am casual driver that just sometimes drive hard, so:
Fuel efficiency
Then
Lifespan
Then
Road grip
Thank you all for help
