Gameplay is arcadey for sure but you can dial in the driving characteristics to be somewhat sim-like. Most of the Hondas and Acuras are available out of the gate, only a few locked behind seasonal challenges.

Since the used car market is exploding right now couldn't you just sell it private party for the same price of the new one plus tax, or use a service like TRED to sell it? You might not have to spend $5k, unless that's your only car and you HAVE to trade it in.
