Honda ended up putting a new bumper and grill on my 2018 Sedan due to the grill popping out. I didn't have to fight them at all to make them do it either. The shop that did it was a quality bodyshop and the paint on the bumper is as good as OEM if not a better match than it was before...
If you did it yourself you’re probably screwed. Dealer installed a hatchback grill on my sedan and I’ve had issues since with it popping out. As of today they are ordering a new grill under warranty to replace it.
Had a look, neither side seemed to be affected by the problem you discovered. The passenger side just doesn’t seem to lock in on the far tab and even though the drivers side is locked in it’s still got a big gap. Also discovered the dealer snapped one of the eyebrow tips off the centre grill...
Can you elaborate or give a better explanation as to what you did here? I have a similar issue on my DX and would love to fix it without painting the bumper. I can’t quite follow what you did here.
Thanks!
