Decided to take my car to the car wash. Told myself that I would never take my car to the car wash and wash it myself. But since winter season is just about over & I have no way of cleaning the salt & snow underneath my car, I decided that I would take my car to the car wash once in awhile.
Since winter has hit Nebraska, I've been using a lot of Chemical Guys Ecosmart waterless spray to wipe down my car. Been buying the 16oz off Amazon for ~$16. Finally decided to buy the 1GAL for ~$29 along with their 32oz spray bottle ~$7. Wayyyyyyyy cheaper than buying the 16oz, should've done...
I had this noise the other day as well. I thought it was my sunroom being tilted or something. The click did go away on its own after awhile. If it comes up again I'll see how I am replicate the clicks and will report back in here as well.
Glazing =/= Claying.
Glazing is a product that helps makes your car 'pop' more. Basically CG's glazing products will give your car more of a shine & and a WOW factor to it.
Claying your car means removing things washing your car cannot simply get rid of. Things such as contaminants thats on...
I'll try to answer this to the best of my abilities, however my knowledge is not as vast as other members here.
1. CG Citrus Wash is an acidity based soap and acidity helps strips the car of any wax or previous details done to the vehicle. Personally I use CG Citrus wash for when I plan to wax...
Are the gaps on the weathertech floor liners normal? There seems to be a gap on side closest to the door on the driver and passenger liner. I've only had them for less than a week and was wondering if it'll cure itself over time.
Just got my car back from oil change yesterday. I mentioned to the service advisor about the rattle and my carpet clip being broken. He was able to fix the carpet clip being broken but said it was a pain in the ass to do. As far as the subwoofer issue, he said this is the 'first' time he's ever...
UGH, really tempted to buy the weathertech front + back for my sedan & the cargo tech along with the containments for the cargo. It'll be $330 before the $27 shipping... Cost so much! I just paid $320 for tinting my car.
What products have you guys been using to clean your interiors (dash, doors & etc.)? I'm looking at two CG products but not sure which one to go with. Any ideas anyone?
Chemical Guys All Clean+ Citrus Based All Purpose Super Cleaner or Chemical Guys SPI_663_16 InnerClean Interior Quick Detailer...
Couldn't you use the abrasive tip from the Honda touch-up paint to help make the chipped areas a bit more even? So when you apply the touch-up paint there won't be any blotches/ridges.
@Warren803 glad you got it fixed! Mine is fixed but the bumper comes out once in awhile. A simple push onto it fixes the problem. Better than nothing I suppose.
Planning on getting my car tinted here soon as well. I was wondering why some civicx's 3rd brake light were tinted and some weren't.. I'm hoping my tinter will cover the whole rear windshield.
Cool! Someone from NEBRASKA! I purchased my car from WILLAMSON HONDA of Lincoln! I actually paid extra for the husker spirit plates because the 2017 generic Nebraska plates weren't doing it for me.
The solution for me was mentioned on the previous page. Have you guys tried changing your brightness? There are two modes, NIGHT & DAY mode. My flickering only happened during NIGHT MODE. So during NIGHT MODE, I increased the brightness by ONE and the flickering went away for me. I'm hoping this...
From what I've gathered from research and the way I detail my car. I put on a gloss/glaze (in my case I use WHITE LIGHT HYBRID) and wait 30 minutes of cure time then buff off. After the gloss, I apply JET SEAL (same procedures as white hybrid). Next I put on BUTTER WET WAX and buff off since...
