That's your friend's decision to bear tbh bro. There's a risk with flashing, the dealer can keep track of how many times the ECU has been flashed. He'd be better set just keeping it simple, like a CAI and wheels. Totally up to him though.
Clean bro, great job on the restoration. Looks beautiful. I don't know if anyone told you yet but get rid of that bov, it harms our engines. Other than that nicely done.
If you live in a community where people will complain about louder cars you should probably just get a full exhaust so it won't be as loud. 27won sounds good and is a relatively quiet cold start and idle. I have a muffler delete and it's not super loud per se but people who live near you will...
Dealers can tell how many times the car has been flashed. They'll keep a record of it for their own use down the line depending on if the car comes back in for a warranty repair. It's a somewhat risky and possibly expensive game to play. So as long as your not running crazy power and also...
I'm about 6'1 205 and I fit alright. Your head will touch the roof just beware and if you're a stocky fellow then the seats will be kinda snug. Other than that you should be comfy.
I have a 19 and I get flashed while running my lights on auto, just because my fog lights run in auto mode. And then I flash them to show I'm I am indeed not running high beams lol
Most reputable dealers can see how many times your ECU has been flashed just for your information. It's a risk to be honest if your car has some type of issue that would normally be covered under a factory warranty and they can prove to an extent that your modifications were the reasoning behind...
Unless im mistaken sport mode doesn't affect boost just throttle response. unless you had someone tune your car to make more boost when pressing the sport button you should be fine.
Yeah, I didn't even realize tbh. I worked at Hollywood Honda for almost two years and I could count on my hands the amount of Si owners that I've met. Plus I've lived in pines the majority of my life and since I've bought my Si I have not seen too many others. I'm just glad that there a lot more...
Had no idea there were regional forums lol. I got my Si coupe this past April. I'm in the Pembroke Pines, and Ft Lauderdale area a lot and I only see the same two Si's. It's nice to see there's a good amount of fellow owners down here though.
I’ve read replies and came to the conclusion that 300 whp isn’t really worth it. So would 260-275 be the sweet spot. I’m planning to do full bolt ons with a tune and maybe a flex fuel kit. I was thinking those power numbers were reasonable and for the most part wouldn’t cause me any reliability...
Thanks Bro. I decided to go again'st the muffler delete and get an invidia exhaust. So when it arrives after i order it i'll put that and the downpipe on at the same time as well as drop that intake in as well. Hopefully after everything is installed and ktuner is ran i get a decent power gain...
