Next up is the wheel setup. Went with Rays Gram Light 57dr in Gun Blue II. I was a bit skeptical of how these at first, but the colour combination has really grown on me. Tires are firestone firehawk indy 500 245/40/18, great budget and daily tire.

Next up was a bit of maintenance. Drivers side cv boot was leaking so decided to replace that. Seeing as how the axle had to come out it only made sense to replace transmission fluid, and do engine oil as well. A local here is a dealer of Amsoil so I went with synchromesh instead of oem...
Thought I would take the time to update this build log. First off was HFP side skirts and the 2020 civic front & rear bumper garnish and OEM black Honda emblems supplied by @Thusee for a more updated look. The front was quite simple, the front garnish can be removed with a plastic panel popper...
Likewise man it was definitely nice seeing yours. The 27won turbo is night and day over the o.e, even on half throttle, that thing will be quick once the clutch goes in and a tune.
Can’t go wrong with the AWE at all from what ive heard on video it sounds pretty good. Im curious to see how yours sounds in person because phone microphones never really do an exhaust justice haha. But hopefully we can do more meetups this summer.
Review:
The one thing that was lacking with this car for me was driver experience, emotion and feedback. The motor mount exhaust and intake so far have done a great job of adding more of those things that were lacking for me. Midrange is more meaty, shifts are smoother, wheel hop is completely...
Update:
With a long overdue update, I finally had time to get everything installed. The install was rather seamless, as i used instructions courtesy of @Vincent@27WON view the Dozuki app. All hardware for the exhaust system and intake were supplied as advertised. P.S I did not get as much...
I hear you but this l15b7 platform is only a couple years old. As you stated, only a handful are running around with 300 wheel, and the aftermarket for these cars is only expanding.
As for the few blown examples documented on this forum, I personally take with a grain of salt. Not trying to...
Theres plenty of aftermarket availa
Plenty of aftermarket available for the l15b7 and its only growing. It would probably be more cost effective build the motor and easily make 350-400whp+. Quality builds take time and money. After all, good things do come to those who wait:thumbsup:
There's really no magic number.
Heres my stance: When modifying ANY car past stock, you are accepting the risk that something could go wrong, as the window for reliability goes down. Adding to this, when modifying a car I would recommend doing your own research as to the parts available...
definitely nice to see more daily driven/ track fbo si’s on this forum! Proper build indeed. How do you like the stock exhaust paired with that dp/fp?
Yes! Huge difference versus oem. The throws are much shorter even without adjusting anything. the shifter is much more engaging now, its almost to easy to bang gears if need be lol.
haha, one of the reasons i store it during the winter. One good hit from ice and that lip is gone lol. Glad to be apart of the club man :). Expect an order for those side markers very soon! That will be my next on the to do list along with some led fog’s.
