Update after several weeks of me replacing the hatch latch the issue has been resolved. Just wanted to let everyone know in case they have this same issue and stumble across this thread. On a side note a service writer at my local dealership was trying to get a master tech to just make the call...
Anyone else had an issue with their hatch being “open” when its clearly closed? I keep getting a horn honk and discovered its supposedly because the hatch is open even though its latched closed. If I open it and close it that resolves the issue for maybe an hour or two then more horn honking...
I paid msrp, only way I was owning one! While I could afford a mark up and the type r is a dream car for me I just wasn’t paying that. Had to drive 4 hours away to get it but so worth the drive. This thing really is a night and day difference from my 2019 si!
I just bought my 2021 ctr saturday and was curious if anyone had recommendation for gap insurance. I didn’t get any through the dealer as I’ve been told it can be had elsewhere alot cheaper. My insurance is through progressive and while they offer gap they don’t in my state (NC). My fault for...
Very wary! Thankfully I just found a dealer that’s about 4 hours away from me that sells them for msrp. I went ahead and paid a deposit and have one guy ahead of me to get one. Sounds like middle to 3rd quarter of the year for me to get mine. Now I just hope it’s a boost blue when it’s my turn...
I was going to post it there but wasn’t sure which category to choose lol. That’s one of my main concerns is it being just hammered on day in and day out. I mean I’ve been heavy on my si from time to time but not every single time I drive it. A buddy of mine mentioned checking the carfax to see...
I was curious what others thoughts were on buying a used type r. Would you actually buy a used one or like me be on the fence considering what the car is I assume even a low mileage one probably has alot of rode hard miles on it. I was also curious if anyone can name dealerships selling new ones...
Yes I absolutely love rev hang delete! From what I have read everyone that has switched to the Phearable tunes likes it better. I’m considering it myself after some time with the tsp.
I’m new to the ktuner and running the tsp tune but how is it you get map 3 in the number 1 slot? Is it something you pay two step for or can you just change the location in the ktuner program?
Sound advice, I’ll be honest I’m starting to wonder if that has been my problem. Hard to not be alittle aggressive on the throttle with the ktuner. I reset it and drove pretty tame to work today so I’ll see if it stays off on the ride home.
I heard those tires weren’t very good, ironically I don’t have them on my car since I liked the color of the sport wheel better I bought a set and got Cooper tires instead.
I’ve checked the pressure in all 4 several times. Hot after driving, cool after sitting, they have been the same every single time, which is why I’m confused lol. I’ll be pulling them all off and checking for punctures if it persists.
On a side note two step performance who I bought the ktuner from did reach out and said the tune shouldn’t have anything to do with the tpms light coming on. I’ll keep reporting back in the off chance someone else has the same issue in the future.
Yeah I believe I have read you really need to do highway speeds or something. My commute to work is city driving so maybe I’ll try a different route home tonight and reset it before a highway. Although when I had my EX-T and the light came on in that car city driving was enough to keep it off...
I have a ktuner and running the tsp stage 1 tune with it, my tpms light keeps coming on and not one tire is low. Anyone else experience this issue at all? I keep resetting it and next time I drive the car at some point during the drive it comes back on.
On a side note if you are gonna order any I’d recommend calling the place first because I have been waiting for a week and finally called today to find out what the deal was and they said one of the parts I ordered was on backorder. Don’t know if it’s an area thing or nationwide but I ordered...
