After holding off on honda hack for years I finally decided to get it on my civic. I installed viper4android for EQ settings but it seems to have no effect at all on bluetooth radio or usb. Is this still working?obsolete? can someone help please
My fuel trims is a bit rich though at -8 to -13 ltf1 . I saw a video on youtube that a failing fuel injector can also trigger this code, is that true? I Ignored this since I dont notice anything fuel injector issue or code for that matter. engine seems to be running smoothly plus injectors are...
for more than a year on flex fuel, car is perfect with no check engine . Then on the 2nd year P0139 and sometimes P2a01 would always pop up for 1-2 months apart. It went on like this for a another year or so where I would just delete the code everytime. then four months ago I finally decided to...
I am running the same custom setup for several years now but I have the hole and hose 4 inch and I have a dust hood behind the screen in the bumper to really scoops the air in. It just sucks that mishimoto doesnt have a race version for the maf.
I had powerstop trackday pads they came with no shims so it made all kinds of noise(rattle, click, metal rubbing) even though I used the oem shims. stopping power was very good especially on canyon downhill driving. oem pads would easily overheat/smoke and cuts stopping power. very dangerous...
So I just replaced my rear tweeters with a cheap one I bought at amazon. I isolated them(unplugged the rear midrange)so I could hear the difference(without the front playing) between the new tweeter and the stock one and to my surprise it actually sounds so much better it sounds so much...
torque one stud to 70 ftlbs before going to next one.
Im on flex tune and I did the one at a time method using the tsp stud kit a year ago and it has not given me trouble yet even though i might have done it improperly by lubing both side of the washers. I also know one person who developed a...
good timing. I just did an oil change today and I was gonna get a sample for blackstone. I guess I am not using their service anymore. this makes perfect sense I have over 3 qts of used oil and it smells like its all fuel but the test results says otherwise.
this is probably the mistake I did. on the instruction on step 4 it says "apply arp lubricant on tops of the of the washers". what I did was lubed both sides of the washers. its just confusing cause Ive watched other honda guys installing arp studs says to lube both sides
I am using the arp studs from tsp. even though the car runs fine I am worried that they might loosen itself. I have been contemplating of retorquing it ever since I switched it 8 months ago.
I replaced the head bolts with arp studs one at a time and the car runs good. I am just a little concern and is always at the back of my head about the nut when being torqued to 70ftlbs. after the nut is torqued and I let go of the wrench, I could see the nut rotate back just a little bit maybe...
I didnt know that you have to align the camshaft before installing hpfp. I just put it back the way it was and seem to work ok for me otherwise it would had been a bad day.
Not worth it at all. I had them on my si cause it needed longer endlinks if you have the bar plate on. I removed it after couple weeks of unbearable noise. I have the oem plastic endlinks with 25mm sway bar for several years now and it hasnt failed on me yet.
yup. I was hammering it really hard. it just bends the insert. the tips got this little head so it locks it in place on the other side. that's what its making it hard to slide in.
