The cooler was not mounted to the bumper beam in that picture only because these pictures were taken during development for reference purposes. Vibration has not been a problem though, as the brackets have just a bit of give and we spent a lot of time at the track to ensure no issues would come...
There are a number of functional differences, but 2 that I would want to touch on are: 1. Our SiriMoto kit does not interfere with the brake ducts, where as the Mishimoto kit does force you to remove one and might impede air flow to your brakes/hub assembly; 2. Our kit provides you 3x 1/8" NPT...
Just an update in response to @Ashxsi post and in case anyone comes across this in the future, found that the alarm was accidentally disconnected during install. He was able to plug it back in and was good to go.
Also, as a side note, we do offer the Take-Off and Pedestal which will allow you to relocate the filter and thus gives you multiple ports to tap into as our Pedestal has 3x Pressure/Temperature ports (with a 1/8th NPT Thread)...

Yea, California 91 really limits the potential of these cars, but more and more we are seeing E85 stations pop up throughout the state! I'm confident though that you should be able to complete the install of the catch can and flex fuel kit, as it has been done on the 1.5T Civics as shown here:
There are really no downsides because you only need to add E85 when you choose to. Ideally, you want to target a E30-40% mixture for max power, but if you live far from an E85 station then you can simply fill up with 93 until you want to get more power and take advantage of Flex Fuel.
We do have this graph available on both our product page and earlier in this thread:
This graph was generated with real-world data from multiple SoCal track events, all recorded over the course of one Summer.
And yes, the oil filter pedestal features multiple ports, for which you can use to...
@forrestbb The effect that the oil cooler core has on the radiator's airflow is very minimal when mounted in this location, and the increase in oil cooling performance greatly outweighs any negative effect this position would have. Different mounting locations were tested and this was found to...
Hopefully not, but unless you are tuned for concentrations of Ethanol that are higher from what you normally get in pump gas it is certainly not recommended. I would consider draining the fuel tank if you didn't measure out what your Ethanol Content would be, before you run into issues.
You're in luck! As mentioned in one of the earlier posts, we now have the SiriMoto kits available. You can check out the above link for the product page, or this thread for some detailed info: https://www.civicx.com/threads/sirimoto-e85-flex-fuel-kit-for-the-fk8-civic-type-r.35699/
