Selling set of Advanti B2 wheels Black with machined edge. Wheel are in good condition - they aren't flawless, but look good. Tires are Dunlop Direzza high performance tires, but one has a plug, and I sold the car before driving on them. I would replace the tires, just to be safe. I can ship and...
I have had no problems with the PRL catted downpipe - no check engine light in 2-3 months of driving. I hate Check engine lights also. I used AFE's front pipe, but have no issue with PRL's front pipe..
If they are the same as the LX. they are around 20 pounds - from the first thread on this forum:
2016 LX wheels:
16x7"
+45mm offset
20.25 lbs (wheels only)
40 lbs (with tires, without hubcaps)
2016 EX wheels:
16x7"
+45mm offset
Their claim to have full 3 inch piping has been proven wrong when myx installed it and noticed a reduction in the pipe. If you look at the middle piece - you can see the reduction right prior to the end opposite the resonator.
Depends on if you ever want to take it off - quality clamps should be good enough. I have done both - I had the exhaust welded on a car when I knew I wouldn't be replacing it to sell it. Most times I use clamps so I can pull it off before selling or trading in.
similar size - I think magnaflow reduces to 2 1/4 after the y and the afe/takeda is 2.5 the entire length. The magnaflow also uses a resonator and I do not think the afe/takeda does - (you can also get titanium tips on the afe/takeda), but the magnaflow should be around a hundred dollars less...
There is always a risk - no matter how minor, there will be a risk. If you are looking for a risk free experience, tuning is not that. Having said that, I think people get a tune to have a bit more fun and power from their civic, and then there are people who get a tune to push the envelope...
Whoa...you got me on the sides - I have you everywhere else, and that's probably what I'm looking like after tomorrow's commute (hopefully with cleaner snow/ice/salt mix ;-) )
Lol, yeah probably, but if you had seen how dirty the Civic was...you would understand...(I was about to be nabbed by Civic Protective Services for neglect).
Finally gat a chance to get the Civic though a car wash, and it had been so long, the local car wash had replaced their old system with a brand new and much better one - it even did a great job on the wheels! Now it will be clean for a whole day as a winter storm warning goes into effect tonight...
I must have gotten lucky, my '16 touring has been mostly trouble free. The forum has helped with the subwoofer rattle, but I occasionally have had the headunit freeze, which is fixed with a reboot. The civic has been the wonderful daily driver I anticipated it to be, and surpassed my...
I needed gas so I drove all over looking for a station with a touchless wash open - no luck...they were all closed (I figured they would be at -9 yesterday). At least I got to wash off the windshield windows and head and taillights. Looks like we might get lucky tomorrow and actually get close...
OK, maybe not your style - but he did a what he wanted with his car, and it doesn't look like every other civic out there...there is some good, clean, install work on the car, and I appreciate the work done to the car.
Snow is awesome......if it didn't make everything super slick, wasn't accompanied by bitter cold, and turned into the grossest shade of dirty grey a day after...not to mention having to shovel or snow blow your way out of the garage...other than that snow is great!
