  1. Sad news...MK6 Civic Type R may go hybrid

Don't get me wrong, I hope the manual sticks around too. I just think it would be a cool option. Knowing Honda, it won't happen. They seem to be committed to keeping the manual alive (at least with the Civic).
  2. 1 thing you hate about your 10th gen civic?

You have nothing to worry about.
  3. 2018 Civic Hatchback

I've had mine for about a year. I'm really enjoying it! The only issue I've had is a light bulb in one of the amber running lights burned out but it was covered under warranty.
  4. Best product for windshield repairs?

I'm not sure I follow your post. Are you suggesting I go to a repair shop?
  5. Best product for windshield repairs?

Hi all, What products do you all recommend for fixing a small ding on the windshield? Thank you in advance!
  6. trade in 2016 for 2019 or Inisght?

I've had the opportunity to drive both. I would have bought the Insight but got a sweet deal on a Civic hatch. Both are great. Get the Insight if you value fuel economy over performance. That said, I felt the Insight still performed well, but no where near as fast as a Civic 1.5T. The Insight...
  7. 1 thing you hate about your 10th gen civic?

While I completely agree that a spare tire is a must, why don't you like push button start? I seriously can't go back to key ignition. Love having that ability to keep my keys in my pocket!
  8. 1 thing you hate about your 10th gen civic?

While there's nothing I really "hate" about my car, I do dislike how low the seating is in the vehicle. Getting in and out of the car can be a chore sometimes! Also, the center armrest is a little low for me, I may invest in the upgraded center armrest at some point, provided it fits (says it's...
  9. Si vs Elantra N Line

I feel like the Si is the winner here. It's tried and true. If Hyundai would bring the I30N to North America then we'd be talking :)
  10. This is the worst car I have ever bought.

It's because the car can't detect the key fob. It's a random thing, sometimes you may just be beyond the sensor. I got annoyed by this myself and turned off the "walk away auto lock" feature all together. I just hit the button on the door handle and that's easy enough.
  11. Your worst rental car?

The Nissan Versa is a classic example of "What the f**k were they thinking when they designed this?"
  12. Your worst rental car?

2008 Nissan Versa, so slow, seats are uncomfortable, no armrest. At least the glove compartment was massive! *shrugs*
  13. Best Driving Roads USA

Route 1A in New Hampshire. Has to be during the spring or fall though. Get's too busy during the summer.
  14. Features You May Not Be Aware Of...

Up until 2019, I think only the Touring/Sport Touring trims had the Auto-high beams (I think the Sedan and coupe added it on the touring trim starting 2018) according to a previous post in this thread. Can someone please confirm?
  15. Features You May Not Be Aware Of...

Only trims equipped with factory navigation have the compass.
  16. Dealer maintenance vs non-dealer

I go to Valvoline for routine maintainance (oil change, transmission fluid, etc.) and I go to NTB for tire rotation - both of these places have provided me better service and better prices than any dealer.
  17. 2nd Flat Tire in less than a year!

Following this thread. Looking to eventually put all-season tires on my Sport Touring hatch. I have Continental tires currently.
  18. OEM Door edge guards w/ body side molding

The body side molding I was able to include with my car (could explain why my dealer messed up installing them) and the door edge guards were around $130. I personally would skip the door edge guards if I were you.
  19. The Sedan is the Safest Body Style

Glad the driver is okay! I'm sure that will buff out!
  20. Push button start

I thought for SI models you need to push and hold the clutch while pressing the start/stop button?
