We have Crappy roads here year round and Ive already got 1 sidewall bubble and 2 rim hits that chipped the paint off the stock wheels on my original 235/40/18s, also wasn't going to lower car..ever cause I enjoy winter mountain driving to much, so with the upgrade I filled most of my wheel well...
Just got wheels and tires installed, pretty happy with set up.. damn I had no clue how crappy my stock Contis were till I drove on these
AvidAV26 HyperBlack 18x8.5 35ET wrapped in 245/45/18 Continental Control Contact, stock height BTW
With saying I'm probably not going to lower my car first ..my reason is due to lots mountainy Winter driving and horrible roads here
I just got some Avid AV26s 18x8.5 35et and saw a set of 245/45/18s on the cheap, these would serve to give me more rubber and protection from horrible roads here...
18x9 30ET … anyone running this? fittament guide says 17mm poke, is that too much? im not going to lower it due to treacherous roads here, I'm planning on running stock 235/40s till they wear out then a 245/45/18
I've searched the aggressive wheel tread and am still unsure
pics are appreciated
