My only recommendation is to keep your stock springs in the event the stiffer ride doesn't suit you. Also, be prepared to maybe have the alignment redone to compensate for the change in suspension geometry.
I'd gladly sell if it if I weren't looking for the stock one. When you ever get your hands on it, you'll like it. Its deep and clean. No rasp. And its subtle.
If there is anyone interested in a local trade (Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex) for a stock 2017~2018 Si coupe exhaust. I have the Gemini on my car now and looking to go back to OEM. Send me a PM.
If you've got a Katzkin installer near you, they'll install the kit. There is nothing "custom" about them. I just picked from the styles available on the website. Don't let the distance deter you. Its totally worth hunting down an installer near you. I found this South Side Trim from the...
I suppose I should have put the cost in the first post. Sorry 'bout that.
$1900 at South Side Trim in Fort Worth, Texas. Dez and her crew did a great job. The kit is made of thick quality leather and suede. It takes a little bit longer for butt warmer to kick in because of the thickness...
I stopped by a local dealer last week. They were able to order and install by last Friday. I'm thrilled at the convenience of install and definitely happy with the final product. Its worth every penny.
I do apologize for pulling up an old thread. I have a 2018 SI and the sunroof rattles as described by the OP. Weather stripping where the rails would rest.. I'm trying to imagine the location. Is this on top or bottom of the sliding cover where the rails would rest?
Something about being aware of your surroundings is just too much for enough people to want a blinky light. I'm all for turning my head to check blind spots and putting in the effort to keep tabs on vehicles around me. No need for blinky lights. I disabled the blindspot (bs) camera as it took...
I find myself in this scenario often like you. I believe their car 'costs' 2~3 times more. But it certainly isn't worth that. Its easy to ignore them. I know what is fast, what isn't fast and what's fun. I have 'fun'. A side note, once I was on a closed track racing my GSXR-1000...
This is a prime example of driver confidence being the 'winner' if you will allow me. I'll always believe that no matter how great a car is, it boils down to how you drive it more than anything else. Driver skill-up should be your first upgrade in any ride.
I realize this is a comparison of...
Welcome. I don't know who's been getting 41mpg in the Si but its better than a lot of sporty cars on the road. I swapped the shift knob quickly. Rasceng makes a great replacement. Weighted, lots of color options and finishes.
I like having the Sport mode with the Si. The active dampers are truly harsh for normal driving. Usually when I get in the Si, I get a feeling its going to be either a sporty trip or a commute. So before I put it in gear, I choose which mode I want. Using the word harsh is a little extreme...
I'm probably going to get some heat for this.
I'm older and have been driving for almost 30 years. I've had my share of close calls at my own fault and others on the road. Haven't had a wreck yet. Emphasis on the word 'yet' as I'm sure my time will come. However, 'back in my day' we were...
Love the blue. I do. I also loved the white, the gray, the black, the silver... not the green. Congratulations on getting back to your Si. These sport compacts DO NOT disappoint.
I'm new here but not new to Honda. All of the info your getting flooded with is extremely valuable. I've owned and modded 4cyl, V6, V8, super bikes, cruisers, choppers, muscle, truck, SUVs. The number one mod you can add to the 10th gen Civic is driving skill.
I noticed you were part of the...
