So this notorius whistling sound has appears now in my civic, and I saw a TSB here the other day with the exact symptoms. It occurs at ~2100 - ~2900 RPM. Can someone please reference it? And how do I prove to my dealer that I need this fixed?

Just wanted to point this out, our CVT transmissions do have a filter. It is within an ATF heater assembly. The part number is 25450-P4V-013. Most people did not know about this so here you go if you want to change the filter too while your changing the fluid.
